I am hoping that the desire to meet the target of all over 50s by the middle of April will mean a push over the next three weeks so I might actually get that magical blue letter Grin Don't think I know anyone 50-55 yet who has on in Lothian (without being in group 6)

jerometheturnipking · 26/03/2021 18:32

My mum is 54 and has hers this weekend in Fife.

latissimusdorsi · 26/03/2021 18:32

Yeah I'm in West Lothian and everyone I know getting blue envelopes at moment is 55-59

Mistressofmany · 26/03/2021 18:44

I see Nicola has just tweeted that she got her letter.

Groovee · 26/03/2021 19:52

I know of lots of 57 year olds getting the vaccine this week in Edinburgh. Still a bit frustrating - everyone I know early 50s/late 40s in England has been vaccinated.

Mrsjayy · 26/03/2021 20:25

Dh got his on Monday he was 5O during last week we are forth valley who seem to be flying through them,I had mine weeks ago im under 50 but with underlying. FVH. Are now letting unpaid carers of any age register online,so it must really vary but i don't know why folk aren't able to book.

LookAChicken · 26/03/2021 20:27

Well done Forth Valley.

WeAllHaveWings · 26/03/2021 22:44

Dh(51) and I(52) got two blue envelopes yesterday - east ayrshire. We both have appointments for Easter Monday at 12:00.

Tried to change one but no other appointments. Just need to hope we dont both suffer the 24-48hr flu-ey side effects at the same time or ds is going to have to nurse us!! 🤣🤣🤣

prettybird · 26/03/2021 22:58

If it's any reassurance, I had my jag yesterday at 5.15 and so far the only noticeable side effect is a sore arm.

I even walked the 1.2 miles to the Asymptomatic Testing Centre today in the rain, hail and sleet Hmm. Hadn't wanted to go before my vaccination appointment just in case I was asymptomatic Wink - but I got my expected negative result soon after Smile

@ssd I read you had hospital appointments you really should try and go.ive had a few over the last year including an MRI and I felt very safe.
