Looks like railing is still needed.

Here is the judgment feee zone to do it.

I have no idea what is going on, it's not me guvnor

Lockdownbear · 04/03/2021 11:08

On another thread someone mentioned a bus garage in that area.

Lockdownbear · 04/03/2021 11:10

Sorry I cross posted I was talking about the issue in Falkirk/ Stirling area.

WaxOnFeckOff · 04/03/2021 11:15

It's been high for weeks though and usually these blips because of a particular issue die down pretty quickly. It was initially Falkirk and Clackmannan and Stirling was sitting about mid table behind them. Since then numbers have dropped everywhere else and risen in forth valley.

Sootess · 04/03/2021 11:21

I get frustrated when we never actually get decent info on where these outbreaks are occurring (and I think Gov often know).

I was shocked 2 or 3 weeks ago when nhs Lothian numbers shot up. Then I discovered (in the press) there was an outbreak at Addiewell prison!!

Lockdownbear · 04/03/2021 11:54

I quite believe the government know where the outbreaks are.

And I certainly don't have an issue with the prison population getting the vaccines targeted at them. If for no other reason than it helps to keep the staff safe.

OldRailer · 04/03/2021 11:56

Yes the time given over to press conferences / briefings and yet such a dearth of localised information.

Icannever · 04/03/2021 12:23

I noticed in Fife they’ve set up a mobile testing unit in Cupar because of high levels of COVID found waste water testing. Actual symptomatic positive test numbers are very low though.
I’d say it’s good to be tested just now as there’s plenty of vulnerable people not vaccinated yet. Can’t see why you wouldn’t get tested at the moment as no tiers yet 😊. Apart from horribleness of the test of course. But seriously anything that gets numbers down before we go into tiers is worth doing I think

OldRailer · 04/03/2021 12:24

I'm glad the waste water testing is being done.

Urgh she's still going with the 26th of April. I think I will go genuinely mad.

Fuck Sad I keep waiting for that to be pulled back. It’s not going to happen, is it? She’d never be seen to be saying Boris was right.
WouldBeGood · 04/03/2021 13:09

It’s really fucking annoying that it’s planned for after the holidays

OP posts:
IsurviveonCoffeeandWinein2021 · 04/03/2021 13:16

So fucking deflated. Their behaviour in parliament was disgusting today and I've just seen another friend having to close their business down while these fuckers go to work every day, take home huge salaries and are up to their neck in it 😡

Sorry that was a big rant I'm just fucked off today

Icannever · 04/03/2021 13:20

Two more months of this nothingness 😭. Was just feeling full of despair yesterday at it all. On Wednesdays we get no school work (well being Wednesday) and I just couldn’t think how I was going to fill the hours until bedtime 😬.

Dreading a school holidays with nothing to do still. Kids would be better off staying at school and normally I love school holidays

IsurviveonCoffeeandWinein2021 · 04/03/2021 13:24

@Icannever the Easter holidays fill me with dread as well. I have a P2 so she's back but 2 weeks will be a nightmare. Also well-being Wednesday? We had it on a Friday. Did hee haw for my well-being that's for sure 😂

WouldBeGood · 04/03/2021 13:24

No apologies needed for ranting on the railing thread !

rookiemere · 04/03/2021 13:26

Thing is by not opening schools properly until after Easter, they're boxed themselves into a corner. Optics of opening up holiday accommodation whilst DCs still not properly back at school is not good.
To be fair, I think it makes sense to be cautious now if it meant once we were done and cases were really low, then there would be proper freedom, but there's very little evidence that's the strategy being followed.
Just book a holiday cottage in England.

IsurviveonCoffeeandWinein2021 · 04/03/2021 13:29

@rookiemere yeah I think your right. They got a lot of flack in pubs opening before schools last time. The only way around this is to get s1-s3 back sooner but the EIS are a major blocker in that.

rookiemere · 04/03/2021 13:29

Edinburgh zoo is open fully from mid March,if you can sneak out of your infected Tiers to get here.

IsurviveonCoffeeandWinein2021 · 04/03/2021 13:31

Oohhh is it! I might book that. If I am questioned I will just say I don't accept that or that I can't recall exactly how I got there 😂 my BIL lives there so could say a care visit (he's 25 but they wouldn't know that) I just need to be able to entertain the kids. My mental struggles are now impacting on them I think. Not mental health as such but I am just really fucking fed up so they are as well

rookiemere · 04/03/2021 13:34

@IsurviveonCoffeeandWinein2021 you might need to put in address to book tickets so you could use BILs I suppose if it spits yours out.

Poor zoo needs all the visitors it can get to keep going, so heartily recommend everyone to go.

IsurviveonCoffeeandWinein2021 · 04/03/2021 13:35

@rookiemere that's brill. Thank you for that btw. A wee something to look forward to.

shouldistop · 04/03/2021 13:50

@rookiemere ooh brilliant! We'll be there!

Groovee · 04/03/2021 14:03

Found the vaccination centre and got parked. Inside felt safe, it wasn't overly busy and kept flowing. Saw quite a few neighbours and met my friend.

I'm really tired now.
