In more positive news. BBC reports that in England care home visits can restart.

Looks like BJs road plan may be leaked Monday morning before an announcement in the afternoon.

I know that's England but NS usually copies it, with some of her own tweaks!

And in the meantime, £500k has been chucked down the drain booking hotel rooms for quarantine at Glasgow Airport which currently has no international flights...

It's ok, it's just government money😉.

Did I imagine NS doing something about care home visiting months ago that seemed to not happen? I remember an image with someone holding a resident's hand and was happy that they were going to get some contact.. Must be misremembering.

Care home visits restarting in Scotland too, it's great news. As others have said, it's been so awful for residents and family.

I really think this would be much better, with all party input. The UK is small and very interlinked and it would make sense. It does get confusing even though I try to keep up with what’s allowed.

Surely macaroni pie and chips is OK isn't it? Though as a veggie the only thing (that wouldn't actually involve a trip to A and E) I can generally eat is (non deep fried) pizza, which are usually pretty good (Italian chippy...). And chips of course (am not asking what fat those are fried in). When DH used to go on work trips DS and I would order the odd chippy, but DH refuses to demean himself by such filthy food. Thinking about it, I think this is the thing that's pissed me off most over lockdown. He never goes away any more.

Cooperating and acting as a team wouldn't drive forward the priority issue though, would it.

The constant "us and them" ing is so fucking tiring.

This is how my full nights sleep in the spare room went;

12.30am "Mummy! Mummy! I need a drink of water." So gave him a drink then he wants me to lie in his bed while so I did for a while.
2.30am The door opens "mummy, can I sleep in your bed?" Ok, get in.
3.15am "Mummy I'm thirsty again" ok have a drink then go into your own bed. "Mummy I'll need to do a pee and wash my hands before going back to bed".
4.15am I hear dh go into kitchen to get the bottle of milk out the fridge, except baby ds is fussy and won't drink it at anything other than body temperature so then I hear him crying while dh warms it up. Realise it's so much easier for me to just feed him in the middle of the night.

Urghhh. It's so unusual for ds1 to get up in the night or ask to come into bed with me. Just had to be the night I was meant to be sleeping.

Oh no! That is so typical. I think They Know when you really, really want a sleep and choose that night to be maximally disturbing. Have to say, DS didn't sleep all the way through the night EVER until he was 3 . Which is one of the reasons we only have one. Disturbed sleep is the pits. Hope you can have a gentle day today.
