Not sure about Falkirk but East Renfrewshire doesn't look like it's going to be too bad. I think they've jumped the gun a bit personally.

I'd rather be making arrangements now than at 7am tomorrow. They are being cautious. We'll know tomorrow if they were right!

Glasgow council are a nightmare. No update until after 8am when my DD is already on the bus to school!

No closures yet in Edinburgh- we'll know by 7am tomorrow apparently. I work in Fife, so it adds an extra dimension to logistics.

Clacks will decide in the morning as well.

Not much more than a dusting here in Falkirk atm but Shotts has a good few inches already.

Stirling waiting till the morning which is fine if your DC don't have 7.50 bus pick up or earlier if coming from Falkirk (where schools are shut). Hope they decide early doors.

I’m in West Lothian but DC go to school in Edinburgh. If I don’t think I can get them to their school bus (not sure if it will run anyway if it’s bad), they won’t be going to school. In theory, if the trains are running they could go that way, but I also worry about them not getting back home!

Looking at the forecast it looks like snow all day so I guess the bigger worry is getting home after work and school. The ground will be frozen as not going to go above freezing. Now I'm thinking it'll be like 2010 all over again!

I'm NHS & we're told that weather warnings don't apply to us & we must attempt to get to work by 10am, or else marked absent. Not sure what I'm going to do yet....

Just a couple of schools here in Aberdeen city so far saying they are opening late. Will see what happens. We've hardly anything so far. Our primary has always prided itself on never closing (not even in 2010!) so we'll see.

I hate snow so would normally be fully grumpy at the idea of it, but MIL is due to fly in on Thur night for the weekend so I'd be quite happy if it got bad enough that the flights were cancelled Wink

Fife have just announced they are closed too.

Forecast here is for heavy snow overnight....

Ooh @giggly I'm down the road in Kilsyth. Although having been up with a poorly dc there, it's unlikely he'll be at school regardless of NL closures.
