I have just GOT to tell somebody!

I have been married 8 years and was told before the marriage that I could never have children. So no contraception for all this time. But I missed my last two periods and the doctor told me today that I am 100% certainly expecting a baby!!

My husband is currently on a plane to Singapore but he now knows the brilliant news. Mumsnetters can be the second to know bacause I have lurked her for so long.

I am so excited!!!!!

Pitterpatter2 · 18/07/2010 18:14

Is it possible that I felt the baby moving today (about 17 weeks)? It felt like something was fluttering inside me. It would be so exciting if it is the baby!

I was told i could't have children - 5 pregnancies and 3 children later .....

Pitterpatter2 · 05/08/2010 14:36

I'm feeling the baby move quite a lot now. Yesterday when I was in Court (I'm a solicitor) the baby gave the biggest wriggle yet: right in the middle of my closing statement!

DH loves to stroke my tummy and to feel the baby move. Strange but I never had him down as a softie! My breasts are also growing which seems to amuse us both.

You wait until it get much bigger and starts to proper jackboot about. My DD used to get her head under my ribs, she was breach and born by C sec, so inside head up until 38 weeks ouch!

My tummy facinated me till she was born, the moving around is the best bit!!

LtEveDallas · 05/08/2010 16:05

Hiccups was my favourite - and always seemed to happen just as I was dropping off to sleep at night - and I'd get the giggles, so sleep was forgotten!
