Did I get my vibrator out too early?

IvanaPavlov · 05/05/2010 19:15

Had sex with my new boyf for the first time.

A bit of a mixed experience. He was very nervous and sturggled to keep it up but did get going in the end. Is that normal? I'm the first he's slept with since a long relationship has been over.

I also can't come without (a-hem) assistance of the battery operated variety so we used the vibrator. He seemed to like it...?

Now I'm a bit worried. I texted him earlier and haven't had a reply. We talked on the phone last night and I got the impression that he thought I was a bit wild! I'm really not... just know what I like. Is that ok, I wonder?

IvanaPavlov · 05/05/2010 19:28

OK, I'm genuinely sorry if I shouldn't have posted this. I don't want to offend. I'm just a worrier and wanted a bit of advice I suppose. Not a regular on here so wan't aware that my post would be so irritating.

Wondering how I can now remove the post because I feel so embarrassed! Thought this site was supposed to be supportive.

I thought it was going to say something along the lines of 'is teatime too early to get my vibrator out?'..

Not 'til you've done the dishes IMO!

Lol.....

Made me giggle anyways.

lifeissweet · 05/05/2010 19:35

No - don't remove it. Your thread title was way better than the ones that just say 'was just wondering..' or 'I have a problem..' which is when people who are easily offended can legitimately complain that there is tmi. Your title made it obvious what the content was likely to be. If other people don't like it, then why did they open it up?

I sort of know what you mean. I have been in situations like that. I would be worrying too, but I don't think you should be. After all, if he is shocked enough to be bothered by that then maybe you're not that compatible anyway (?). I find that, as I have got older and more aware of what I like, I am reluctant to waste my time pretending that I am innocent and know nothing. Far better to be a bit more assertive IMO.

However, can't second guess why you haven't heard from him, I'm afraid. Could be anything!

IvanaPavlov · 05/05/2010 19:46

Oh, Lifeissweet! Thank you so much!
I appreciate the advice and feel a little less about my original post.

Weirdly enough, he's just texted so think it's all ok - he's been in meetings at work til now apparently. I always feel guilty about sex for some reason (until I've been with someone for a while) and wondered whether a glass or two of wine had emboldened me to reveal a bit too much about myself too early.

Think it's ok though!

great title
and glad it is OK now

GypsyMoth · 05/05/2010 19:49

i'm sure its ok ivana.....curious tho,why you brought it out without giving him the chance to ....try....himself first?

lifeissweet · 05/05/2010 19:50

Glad it worked out. I suspected you may have been worrying unnecessarily. I have been there.

AnyFucker · 05/05/2010 19:54

Ivana...don't have it removed

We are teasing you

There have been a lot of rather explicit sex threads recently and we are feeling a bit of spanking/vibing/gagging overkill (well, I am anyway...other peole may be absolutely gaga for every little detail of other's sexlives )

You post what you like though, love, but don't be surprised if you get some ribbing (or some flogging...whatever floats ya boat )

NinaJane · 05/05/2010 19:59

What did you guys do before you had sex? If you went out for dinner, then I would say that you got your vibrator out too late - you should have made it stood on the table, next to the ketchup. That way he would have known what was for desert.

AnyFucker · 05/05/2010 20:03

yep, you could have used it to stir your soup

IvanaPavlov · 05/05/2010 20:05

Now I'm smiling! I'm sorry to take all the teasing to heart... perhaps I have no sense of humour? (Oh great, another thing to worry about!). I'll be having nightmares about my vibrator on the dinner table now. I already have dreams in which I accidentally take it to work and pull it out of my bag in front of my boss! What would Freud say??

I know the posts you mean (the nipple clamps one?). Tried not to be too explicit.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 05/05/2010 20:06

Yes...sadly some of us live vicariously through the lives of others and the chance to have a giggle or stir up some fantasies is the closest we get... [frown][sigh]

I have never thought about when would be the right time for a 'new friend' to meet my 'old friend' so it is worth a read....

MitsubishiWarrioress · 05/05/2010 20:07

And a nice frothy coffee...

AnyFucker · 05/05/2010 20:07

oh, Ivana...there have been quite a few in the same vein as the nipple clamps one

it seems lots of ladies are into alsorts

being teased on here is the same as being supported...

NinaJane · 05/05/2010 20:14

Ivana, if it is any consolation, I allowed a guy to give me a muff on a first date. I ended up having a 4.5 year relationship with him (he must have enjoyed it as much as I did ). Anyway, to make a long story short, I broke up with him, because whenever we had a row, he would say 'what kind of woman allows a man to go down on her on the first date?'

AnyFucker · 05/05/2010 20:18

you lasted 4.5 years ?

I hope he gave you shedloads of muff for putting up with a twonk like that

IvanaPavlov · 05/05/2010 20:18

Oh Nina, I allowed my BF to do that too! Maybe I am wild.
