Don’t forget to discuss child maintenance asap to help with your income. Now that you have an accurate idea of his income, you can calculate the minimum he would pay using the online calculator. If he refuses you can apply online to have this taken direct from his paycheck.

Keep away from all sharp instruments this week and next - I know it will be very tempting!

I am sure once he is on his own he will be very happy cooking his own meals and doing his own housework (yeah right). Let's all hope he doesn't get a replacement for his wife anytime soon!

Not sure what happened to my earlier post and at the risk of it being somewhere and repeating myself - although I think I am happy to repeat myself to say I am in awe of your strength and focus, glad your family has your back as does pretty much the whole of Mumsnet.
