Deleted wassap

Help needed. I'm sure my DH is up to something and I need proof.
I can see he's on wassap constantly when I'm at the office, like every 10 minutes.
Every he comes back I can see him in the car on his phone before he comes in so he's probably deleted messages because when I check his phone there's nothing from those times, if they are deleted then there's no getting then back right?

Have you checked his archived messages?

If he's deleted messages it will state "message deleted". Check archived messages and locked messages.
They don't show up on the chat list when you open WhatsApp chat.

That's a little clearer, thanks. For a lot of us, though, we need verification that a partner is doing something shady. I wouldn't want to end a marriage without knowing for sure that he's over the line, but neither do I want to ignore the signs and be made a fool of.

At 12, I saw firsthand the devastation that a lying cheat causes. Chlamydia is just one of the gifts the ass left. Not to mention destroying a daughter's trust in fidelity.

I can't see where the archives are which leads me to believe that they aren't any?

In any WhatsApp chat there's a bubble saying "deleted message". So it's obvious if they've been deleted.

There's usually an empty thread so it's clear it's gone...
Also I checked last three names, thanks for that tip whoever you were and they are all legit 👍

@Sleepless865 if it's an empty chat he's cleared an entire chat rather than just deleting individual messages

Bloody hell, just reading this for the first time. Are you looking through his whatssap using his own phone or have you managed to log in on your computer?
I once logged into my own whattsap on my computer and I got an alert on my phone like a pp mentioned so be wary if you’re doing that.

If you can access his phone, look for hidden folders or hidden albums in his camera gallery. Not sure if it still does, but Facebook had this "nearby friends" feature. If you can access his phone, maybe turn that on. It will atleast show you where he is... there is nothing worse than not knowing. Check emails too. Sent, deleted, outbox etc.

If you have access to his phone you can go into the settings and turn on notification history. This saves all notifications you get to your phone, and also tells you if you have deleted any whatsapp messages. And it doesnt matter if you delete the message it still records the message that was sent if you get a push notification.

I had this exact same thing OP and unfortunately he was cheating also when he was asleep I checked his phone and he has messages from two different women he had been meeting with he was very angry at me for doing this saying I invaded his privacy ect but it was the only way I found out the truth I just knew something was off as you have said he was constantly online also not replying to my messages. Don't say anything to him too soon though as my ex instantly turned his online status off when I confronted him. He did continue to see one of the women then tried to get me to come back after being with the ow for some weeks. I'm so sorry you are going through this I know how hard it is. Not sure in iphones sorry, but In my samsung its in the settings- notifications- advance settings- notification history. Then you turn it on, it will show any notifications from when you switch it on. He might have it on already and then you would be able to see previous ones. You could google how to do it on an iphone.

He doesn’t want to reply to her messages. He’s not interested in her. He’s emotionally checked out. If he is texting another woman what is OP going to do?

Could you get access to his phone at all?

You can delete that bit as well.

She will never find locked chats if he’s hidden it properly (by password).

My WhatsApp shows me being online all day because it's open on my laptop. I might not actually send a single message though.

On an iPhone the archived messages should be shown at the very top, as in the pic here.

Also, if you want to mark a chat as unread, hold your finger down on that person's chat and it'll bring up a little menu and one of the options is Mark As Unread.
