To shave or not to shave?

I've NC for this. I have met a new man it's early days and we are getting to know each other all is going well so far. sounds silly but I'm quite anxious about when it comes to the point of taking things further. Will he expect me to be fully shaven down below or is it still acceptable to have a "landing strip" which I prefer I really dont like to be fully shaven or the faff of doing it. I've not been intimate with a man for a long time. Do most women fully remove pubic hair now and do men expect to see women fully shaved?

Keep it how you like it. I've always shaved bald because I like it but some partners said they liked hairy. But hair irritates me so it was just tough for them 😅

If there are no advantages for a woman to shave down there, why are women wasting time doing it? Please don't tell me women do it to please or think men like it?

Only ever took it off once, looked disgusting (akin to a pasty plucked chicken) regrowth was prickly, itchy and despite showering x 2 daily, follicles got infected. Looked like severe acne so no, wouldn't shave it off again for all the tea in China.

As one of my Friends husband put it, some men prefer “turf on the pitch”. My niece said most younger blokes prefer their girlfriends to look & perform like porn stars, that means preferably shaved. I wouldn’t shave to please a man but give mine a no 2 on the hair clippers now & again & that’s because I am too tight to get a wax

Why are you asking what he might "expect"? He gets what he gets ... and that is simply what YOU choose. Your body ... your choice. If he does not like it he can jog on.
Too many girls and women try to live up to men's expectations ... often porn driven. Whatever happened to womens lib?

Take a deep breath and set your boundary now. You want a landing strip then stick with that landing strip now. If he is a man who'd be put off by a little bit of pubic hair then he's a twat and best to weed them out early!

To be fair I can either shave it or not not for dp but I prefer myself shaved I don't do that daily maybe 2 weekly I couldn't be arsed with every 3 days shaving if he doesn't love you for you he's a prick anyway my dp doesn't care either way
