And I actually find it abusive .
He knew I did t want one .
He was alluding to it.
Told him that that wasnt for me .
Inbox ..minutes later.
I am just sick of these sub standard men.
Is this bloody normal in online dating ?
Why in earth would any man think a random female find these photos anything less than vile and repulsive .

Hi op I know how you feel. Someone I never expected sent me two in a row it was absolutely disgusting and over Facebook, someone I’d met in a work capacity literally once. I do see it as sexual harassment at least, never took it to the police because I just didn’t know what they’d do. It’s horrible. I hope you’re ok ❤️

Scheanasgreytooth · 14/05/2023 20:48

I have no idea why they think it's ok, especially if you'd already said no. Well obvs they don't think it's ok because you said no. He knew it was not ok and still inflicted it. It is abusive, it's him taking control and essentially flashing himself. If it's in an app can you report him?

I've been on the dating apps for about a year on and off and am lucky - not had any pics as yet. Sorry you've had that OP, he's revolting.

gottobenz · 14/05/2023 20:51

I'm really unsettled .
I had explicitly said that this was not my scene .
He sent it anyway .
I deleted the chat. He didn't even follow up . I want him to do
That to
Say how utterly repulsed I am by him before I block him .
I wonder if he gets off in sending this knowing I don't want it ? Is he laughing at. Me ? Filthy bastard .

Ugh disgusting I'm sorry OP. I think you should name and shame him tbh

Shadowworry · 14/05/2023 20:53

let the app know and delete him - if you know where he is inform the police on 101

Worriedmum40284 · 14/05/2023 20:54

It is horribly intrusive and as PP said, an online version of flashing. It should be illegal in just the same way - it's indecent exposure if unsolicited which it clearly was.

Sorry this happened to you and has left you feeling upset Flowers

mummywithtwokidsplusdog · 14/05/2023 20:54

So sorry… that is really horrible. Agree with PP… report and block.

MathsNervous · 14/05/2023 20:56

Take a screenshot so you have proof of it being sent. Absolutely disgusting. You should be able to report to police.

Bluebells1970 · 14/05/2023 20:57

I would report it if you've got enough detail about him.

What a disgusting thing to do.

Whataretheodds · 14/05/2023 21:01

Report him on the app you met on (if you did) /report him on the app he contacted you on. Block.

5128gap · 14/05/2023 21:12

If I was still the 1980s he'd be in the park wearing a mac. The motives don't change even if the methods do. He doesn't care if you wanted them, it's sexual harassment for his own gratification. Imagining your shock/distaste is part of the thrill.

SaturdayGiraffe · 14/05/2023 21:16

The point is to unsettle you. That’s the power of it.

pecantoucan · 14/05/2023 21:25

Is it not illegal? It should be.
I'm sorry OP. I wouldn't respond to him though that's what he wants

NannyGythaOgg · 14/05/2023 21:25

My response has been, Ha Ha, pathetic. And then block

Pinkplasticbathcup · 14/05/2023 21:27

It’s fucking disgusting and I’m so sorry. Happened to me once from someone I thought was a friend! And I was horrified. As others have said, report and block

converseandjeans · 14/05/2023 21:27

I'm pretty sure it's illegal. I think you should report him to the police for harassment.

knobheadex · 14/05/2023 21:49

Gross. I've had a couple and just asked them why they'd sent me a picture of a child's penis. They went off. Then I blocked them.

Karmakamelion · 14/05/2023 21:51

I find asking if it's very very cold where they are and then blocking very satisfying

Exactly this. All about the power of making you see it.

WoMandalorian · 14/05/2023 21:57

Sorry this happened to you. There's some good comebacks online if you're interested. Here's two of my favourites 😅

One woman turned the tables by sending dick pics back (this was in 2019). It's been going on since camera phones were a thing and I sympathize ,OP.

It is a power trip and they get off on it...

Report him to the dating app/site you met him on.

yarikq · 14/05/2023 22:04

I'm sorry that you've experienced this! If I was in your position and I knew his identity I would report it to the police and his employer.

AbsolutePixels · 14/05/2023 22:06

I would like to see men prosecuted for this sort of behaviour.

For God's sake, don't send one back.
