My husband does our online banking ,he was away last week and we had an issue with our bank so I logged in. I have found lots of withdrawals ,I know nothing off & they mostly have single girls names beside them ! Does anyone have any idea what they are ,my mind is racing thinking my husband has been cheating .I can’t find anything online ,I’ve posted a few examples but there at least 10 other girls names showing similar withdrawals .he already says I’m paranoid but I have caught him on dating sites ,messaging escorts in the past .I thought this behaviour was behind until I found these .

He is such a liar, OP.

I’m sorry for whatever you’re about to find out, once you can sift through his bullshit.

FormerlyPathologicallyHappy · 06/03/2023 17:46

He’s paying for sex/exclusive content off women.

They never stop, I’ve known men in their 80’s cheat on their wives.

macncheeeesey · 06/03/2023 17:47

With crypto, you can often pay via your bank account but the reference is a code not a name. If the name wasn't a female name, I'd have said it was crypto because my account looks like that sometimes as I'll make multiple transactions on one day.

Dinhop · 06/03/2023 17:48

Might be fraud. They have some very sophisticated technologies to get in to accounts these days and quite often they take lots of smaller amounts to see what they can get away with. One big transaction usually triggers a fraud alert and locks the account.

can you see the bank details they went to?

try Googling the account and sort code to see if it’s uk/foreign, comes up flagged on any fraud sites.

hope it is Fraud rather than cheating

PlantKi1ler · 06/03/2023 17:48

Only fans or cam girls maybe? It definitely looks suspicious though.

chipndip · 06/03/2023 17:48

Those are all transfers to a person's named account rather than payments to cam girls, most of whom are on Adultwork and the payment will be made to them, not the individual cam girl. And it's the same with OnlyFans, payment made directly to them, not the individual cam girls. Cam payments tend to not be in round figures either.

The £20 payments could be deposits, the larger payments for multiples of an hour. Judging from the prices, OP is not in London.

TheNine · 06/03/2023 17:49

Definitely Cam girls, Only Fans shows up as Only Fans. Looks like he has a financial humiliation kink, look it up - get your money out of all shared accounts NOW and LTB. So sorry this has happened to you, it’s despicable

UnePetitDeKelvin · 06/03/2023 17:50

It's not crypto. It would come up with the name of the exchange he purchased the assets on.
He's a mucky bugger. Get him binned asap.

justasking111 · 06/03/2023 17:53

Freeze the account after transferring any money in it. Report to bank they may get the money back. Don't dither

Justmeandthedog1 · 06/03/2023 17:54

I’m not surprised you don’t have spare money when he’s spending like this!
If he’s never discussed this with you it’s because he has something to hide.

Peony26 · 06/03/2023 17:57

You need to have a serious think here about what you want and be clever. This looks really dodgy. And if you don’t have access to other money and he’s paying out huge amounts to women or gambling then you need to have a plan in place

Dibbydoos · 06/03/2023 18:02

Online girls, I'm afraid.

He's cheating in a virtual environment.

Sending you a hug xxx

sukiwh · 06/03/2023 18:02

Another vote for paypig

Chippy1234 · 06/03/2023 18:03

Surely you just ask him? It’s escorts or some sort of sex type service imho.

Why do people do this knowing that other members of the family have access to bank accounts? What a daft thing to forget about!

Inkypinkee · 06/03/2023 18:04

Pay pig - paying girls as part of a humiliation kink. Prob usually uses another account normally and made a mistake using this one.

GlassBunion · 06/03/2023 18:10

You need to take lots of screenshots and go back as far as you can.

Confront him if you want but I'd be making my getaway.

neitherofthem · 06/03/2023 18:12

If it is a joint account then it is your money as well as his. He might be the only one paying in, but that is irrelevant.

Beneficialchampion2 · 06/03/2023 18:13

He's a pay piggy as they refer to it in the industry. Basically women rinse men for their cash and the humiliation is arrousing for some men.

Elciekay · 06/03/2023 18:13

WFHbore2023 · 06/03/2023 15:55

Could he be a pay pig??

The high amounts in one day would lead me to believe this is the most likely

100% this. He's a pay pig - so he has a sexual fetish of paying for attractive women to speak to him and being humiliated about being so useless/ugly that he has to pay.

Look up financial domination. So many payments in one day indicates the Dom may have photos/videos of him in compromising positions (alone) but perhaps 'caged' and was threatening to expose him. Another big thing for pay pigs and findoms.

GrasstrackGirl · 06/03/2023 18:19

He's a paypig but how fucking stupid is he to use the joint account?

Sandra1984 · 06/03/2023 18:21

Escorts only take cash, but cam girls credit/debit cards only, so this seems like he's paying cam girls. Unless he's card got stolen or his account hacked into which happens and Maria is some short fat hacker in India/Russia with an Interpol warrant and this a case of fraud. Nothing like going to the bank and asking. We all freak out when our account gets hacked or money stolen but your husband sound quite relaxed about it? hmm

MsRosley · 06/03/2023 18:21

Oh, OP. Come on. You've caught him doing this once before, but now you're doubting the evidence you've recently discovered?

Solonge · 06/03/2023 18:22

Visit the bank with the statement and be clearly angry, ask to speak to an advisor and say what on earth are all these debits about? Are they scams….

Ramunea · 06/03/2023 18:23

His paying for sex

A prostitute can have a business account. If he/ she is self employed (which I’m assuming would be in this line of work) then it would be registered as a business account and so therefor a single name (and not forename and surname) would be deemed as legitimate.

the answers are all there…it’s up to you if you want to believe it.

ukgone2pot · 06/03/2023 18:27

I don’t want to accuse and it turn out to be some kind of payment into one of these crypto ,bitcoin things as I have no understanding how they work .

He'll be buying crypto from an exchange, i.e - Coinbase, Binance or using his card with moonpay etc. Think of it like any other transaction you would do. The name 'Coinbase' would appear on this bank statement, for example. Don't let your lack of knowledge and understanding make you vulnerable. Do not let him fob you off. Also, banks have very recently put restrictions on a lot of cards now. You cannot purchase crypto using your credit card (HSBC and Nationwide) and there are daily limits on some cards. Some bank cards you cannot purchase crypto from full stop.
