Does your dp go for a poo in front of you

Help to settle a very light hearted discussion please. I've watched everything on Netflix and am this bored!

Been with dh for 5 years and we don't poo in front of each other. We were discussing ex relationships ( don't ask me how ) but the topic came up that my ex partner used to go for a poo in front of me ( never bothered me).

DH said it's weird and that he doesn't imagine many couples do this , I disagree and think it's probably quite common.

So do you/ your partner or has an ex ever done this ?

We do! DH commonly barges into me to tell me something urgent while I am pooing. (Usually a funny meme)
Same for me.
Sometimes, if I've done what I would call an impressive poo, ill call on DH to have a look for his opinion.

This is not normal? No one in a long term relationship Barbie situation?

Are you 12

DeFacto · 21/12/2022 01:35

No.

I'm super-open but I'm not down for taking a shit in front of someone.

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 21/12/2022 02:02

sometimes he leaves the door open when he’s peeing. I usually shout “I don’t want to see your peeing arse” and shut the door over

Surely he doesn't take his clothes off completely just to have a wee? Do you really object so strongly to seeing the back of his jeans?

For those who say "Wee: fine; poo: euw gross, never".... what happens if you've only planned a wee and then it turns into an unexpected upgrade? Do you suddenly nip break off the "How was your day?" discussion and scream at him to get out now?!

What is wrong with some people

Nothing wrong. Just different to you.

I would only pee in front of dh if I was very desperate

Wonderland19 · 21/12/2022 16:20

My partner does and will leave the door open, if I'm in the bath will come in. I however absolutely do not and couldn't think of anything worse!

Zanatdy · 21/12/2022 16:28

Definitely not

Mary46 · 21/12/2022 16:43

No. Gross. Could think of nothing worse lol

SwordToFlamethrower · 21/12/2022 22:45

I'm reading these replies out to my DH. He is laughing while brushing his teeth and I am doing a crap.

Also, he watched me have an episiotomy and give birth to our daughter 6 weeks ago

He won't be laughing when you ask him to pass his toothbrush for your regular 'extra minty fresh clean up' Grin

Absolutely not.

I cannot imagine being in the bath, enjoying the warm atmosphere, gentle fragrance of the bath bomb, dreaming of sunny shores, and my DH trundles in, drops his drawers, and has a SHIT. Like who would do that? Confused

Call me princess but I never want to see a romantic partner wiping their arse.

I'm just impressed you can poo and scroll 6 weeks pp. I'm pretty sure I needed to hold my stitches still at that point 😭

DontStopMeNow7 · 22/12/2022 06:33

Lol. This is hilarious.

No. But totally peed in front of most exes.

Anothernick · 22/12/2022 08:17

Years ago when my DW was my GF she lived in a bedsit in a large house which had only a couple of toilets shared between a number of tenants. At that time - more than 30 years ago - ensuite facilities were much rarer than they are now and all she had in her room was a small sink. I remarked that it was annoying to trek down a long flight of stairs every time you needed to pee and in response she produced a plastic bowl, dropped her panties, peed into it and then rinsed it down the sink. Since then we have never thought twice about peeing in front of each other but no 2 is definitely off limits.

DontStopMeNow7 · 22/12/2022 09:32

I’ve gotten used to peeing in the woods when I do long hikes; my aim is pretty good - you get used to such things. But I just can’t imagine straining in any way in front of anyone. Let alone a romantic partner! And what if it’s noisy and smells? Do they just keep on cleaning their teeth, or is it funny?

SwordToFlamethrower · 22/12/2022 11:13

Genuinely curious how many of you who find it disgustan to see each other poo, have or ever had bum sex?

A full load! I have never heard anyone say that about one's arse before.

'Must go to the loo, full load going on 'ere!'....
