Does your dp go for a poo in front of you

Help to settle a very light hearted discussion please. I've watched everything on Netflix and am this bored!

Been with dh for 5 years and we don't poo in front of each other. We were discussing ex relationships ( don't ask me how ) but the topic came up that my ex partner used to go for a poo in front of me ( never bothered me).

DH said it's weird and that he doesn't imagine many couples do this , I disagree and think it's probably quite common.

So do you/ your partner or has an ex ever done this ?

Remind me of one of my favourite Father Ted scenes

TeaAndThenMoreTea · 19/12/2022 21:29

I do. Never shut the door to the bathrooms at all but hubby doesn't. Don't think he's that impressed but my childhood home was small and we all had to get used to it so I've not got any issues with ut

Notellinganyone · 19/12/2022 21:31

All the time. We only have one loo- it’s really not a big deal.

JosephFrancis · 19/12/2022 21:46

My ex did and I thought it was absolutely vile. So many times I'd just be relaxing in the bath and he'd come in, plonk his arse on the toilet next to me and just sit there grunting and farting and pooing for twenty minutes or so, filling the room with his stench 🤮

AND. If he was on his own using the loo, he'd have the door open so that everyone could see him perched there- and hear him!!

purpledalmation · 19/12/2022 21:49

God no. A wee if really necessary (no spare toilet). A poo would be disgusting

Could you or lock the door?

I'd lose my shit, no pun intended. That's beyond rank, dirtbag 🤮

No
Absolutely not

If either partner is ill then that's different as that's live and can be easily forgotten as a moment of sheer desperate I'll health, but normal going to a poo when your partner is in the bathroom, jeez guve over!!! As yuk !! If you want to keep having sex and fancying each other then that's a line you don't want to regularly cross!!!

😂sharing is caring 😂

That made me lol! 😂Mercifully he's now sharing and caring with someone else. 💩

Geppili · 20/12/2022 00:58

No fucking way!

Waiteflower · 20/12/2022 00:59

Never a poo but I have weed in front of DH when pregnant and he was in the shower - needs a must sometimes

OooScotland · 20/12/2022 00:59

No, absolutely not!

22 years and counting….

QueefQueen80s · 20/12/2022 01:00

It's fucking disgusting and seeing and hearing them poo would put me off them for life. Ex never even left a smell in the bathroom to walk into afterwards.

Call me princess but I never want to see a romantic partner wiping their arse.

This . Brilliant nor do I !

HappyAxolotl · 20/12/2022 01:02

No way! Toilets have locking doors for a reason!

But.. I did wee and sort my period infront of him and I guess there are people who would find that disgusting.
But never shit or farts.

TrimTheTree · 20/12/2022 01:06

Fuck no. Your DH is correct.

This would only happen if one of us was so sick we needed full on assistance to stay upright in the toilet,

CrunchyCarrot · 20/12/2022 01:09

No way!

Aprilx · 20/12/2022 01:18

AllThingsServeTheBeam · 19/12/2022 20:54

Because I need something out of the bathroom or utility whilst he is in there 🤷🏼‍♀️

I can assure you I am not asexual

Surely it could wait?

Definitely a No from both of us. DH won’t even go to the loo if one of the dogs is in the room with him.

Bepis · 20/12/2022 01:21

It's bad enough my DH comes down from the toilet and tells me about the size of his poo 🤢. I could not cope with being in the same room. Only adult I've been in the same room as while pooing is my daughter who has additional needs and needs help with toileting.

Geppili · 20/12/2022 01:34

@Aprilx

"DH won’t even go to the loo if one of the dogs is in the room with him."

This made me snort! 😂

DramaAlpaca · 20/12/2022 01:36

No! Together 34 years, and never. Some things need to stay private.

Why wait when there is no problem?

Bepis · 20/12/2022 05:47

@Aprilx I can relate 😂. My dog will follow me in the bathroom and every time I go to wipe, she tries to bite the tissue and grab it out my hand. She likes to shred tissue up.
