No, not for one moment. It was the right thing to do for both of us. And the DCs.

Hopeandlove · 22/08/2022 20:13

Yes sometimes despite the fact he was awful and a narc etc and abusive I sometimes miss the fact of another human and the cuddles and sometimes in the middle of a row we just looked at each other and laughed

TitInATrance · 22/08/2022 20:14

dudsville · 22/08/2022 20:17

No. My only regret was i was in a big transition at the time and in therapy and my therapist advised i wait until i was through the transition. I thought it was good advice, and i still do, in theory, but it changed nothing and made me look a little grabby, and what i ended up living through was worse.

Purplehonesty2 · 22/08/2022 20:19

No. Even tho I had to sell my huge forever home and move into a rented cottage. Even tho money was tight.

I knew it was the right thing to do.

And less than a year later the most amazing man proposed to me and I now have a wonderful husband and step father. He's everything I wanted and was missing for 20 years.

AuntieMarys · 22/08/2022 20:27

Not on a personal level but I wonder how my child's life would have been different without two warring parents in and out of family court for ten years.

Coldiron · 22/08/2022 20:47

No. Both times.
