Hello
I’ve recently have been seeing a guy, we’re exclusive and I really really like him.

Recently we have slept together, and he was texting me today saying he would pay me to do that again. He said me being on top was amazing and he would pay a specific amount for me to do today. I feel yuck, my friend has said I’m being fussy but I feel like it means he’s done it before?

Are you a prostitute?

DenholmElliot1 · 02/08/2022 14:29

How much?

NeverHadANickname · 02/08/2022 14:29

Why would he need to pay you if you had done it already and it is possible you would do it again? Why not say he really liked it and would you like to do it again today or whenever? That's weird. Bringing money randomly into sex like that would concern me.

Discovereads · 02/08/2022 14:30

Perhaps he’s made a very bad joke? I’m not sure why else a man you’re seeing would say something like that.

Hopeandlove · 02/08/2022 14:30

Red flag

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 02/08/2022 14:31

Urghhhh is that a very clumsy attempt at flattery?😱

BiscoffSundae · 02/08/2022 14:32

Is it a joke? Sounds like he meant it as a joke not literally that he would pay you considering you’ve already slept with him

redbigbananafeet · 02/08/2022 14:33

Ask him what he means and if is actually offering to pay you money.

darisdet · 02/08/2022 14:37

Joking I hope.

Musti · 02/08/2022 14:37

I think although in bad taste, he didn’t mean he would pay you. A bit like if someone makes a delicious meal you could say that you would pay for that in a restaurant. Doesn’t mean you will pay them.

yellowsmileyface · 02/08/2022 14:39

He could have been joking, but even joking about the exploitation and degradation of women is worrying behaviour. He doesn't exactly sound very respectful.

Weird comment from your "friend" as well. I'd be feeling very yuck about it too.

Suprima · 02/08/2022 14:39

You are not ready to ‘see’ people if you have to come to mumsnet querying what to do in this situation.

please get some therapy instead

D0lphine · 02/08/2022 14:40

I think it's a bad attempt at flattery / compliment.

But that would give me the ick....

alnawire · 02/08/2022 14:43

'I would give you a million pounds to do that again' is very different to 'come round Friday and I will give you £50 to do it again'

Chillinoncarneisunderrated · 02/08/2022 14:45

Sounds like an absolute prince ,OP. Seriously, sounds like he has creepy prostitution kinks . 🚩🚩🚩🚩

Allthegoodnamesarechosen · 02/08/2022 14:45

So how much does he normally pay women then?

BlueKaftan · 02/08/2022 14:46

Dear idiot

jog on

Ohahjustalittlebit · 02/08/2022 14:47

The ick is upon me. Gross.

FilePhoto · 02/08/2022 14:47

Yuck.

I went on a date a few years ago who messaged me after dropping me home and said "you looked so good I wanted to rape you"
Apparently it was a compliment and he didn't actually mean it.

I then didn't hear from him for about a year when he messaged me out of the blue and offered to pay me for sex. Yuck yuck yuck. I blocked him.

PussGirl · 02/08/2022 14:47

Yuck! It might have been a clumsy joke, I suppose.

Hillrunning · 02/08/2022 14:48

Does your friend believe it was a joke and you are being fussy not to find it funny? Or do they think it was serious and you are being fussy to mind having your boyfriend offer to pay you for sex?

Either way, it would be the end of the relationship for me.

something2say · 02/08/2022 14:48

Yes, to me this suggests he had paid for sex and is trying to line you up as his personal prostitute. Your feelings are valid x

FilePhoto · 02/08/2022 14:48

Mind you, my ex also said my BJs were so good he'd pay for them. He didn't mean he would literally pay me though. Should have bloody charged the bastard Wink

blacksax · 02/08/2022 14:51

Oh dear.
