I stayed over.

Third date on Saturday
He insisted I stayed over instead of Uber home - I was happy as night had gone well
No sex

Had been talking 6-8 weeks

He had worked away in the middle so did not see each other then

He said 'see you soon' when I left in the morning and all seemed fairly normal from my point of view. I left about 10am on Sunday

NC from him since I left. Did text yesterday to hope his work day had went well but no response

Bad sign?

For context he is a 'bad texter' and frequently leaves 12-24 hours with text replies and will respond something thoughful. I suppose I probably just feel sensitive as we cuddled and kissed the whole night - but we have never spoken about anything heavy / exclusive / had intercourse. I was happy with way things were going

I seen anti depressants in his bathroom which is no problem for me - but makes me think I should go easy on him and not jump to conclusions about his contact style

I agree that it's his turn to message.

Molkos could well be right that he's anxious about his potential performance.

Personally I wouldn't put up with bad sex.

So if he does message back and turns out to be a one minute wonder, cut your losses IMHO.

But I know some women find a husband who had issues at first but eventually improved. My experience with a bloke with both PE and impotence was that I forgot for years what good sex was, then suddenly remembered and regret the years I missed out on it.

Bellieboo33 · 23/05/2022 22:36

I would personally say the lack of replies isn’t great, especially if your relationship has just moved into a new phase with you staying over, despite no sex. He should be a bit more reassuring and attentive than this.
I would expect a text the next day, or even a reply to your message. At best he is lukewarm. You deserve better IMO.
I know you like him but please try to keep perspective, as it sounds like he is underwhelming you already with his communication style.
I would say that this early on he should be a bit keener than this. Take it in your stride, but don’t settle for less.
good luck OP

As someone who is also doing lots of online dating at the moment, I go by the mantra of "every man knows how to treat a woman well. If he doesn't treat you amazingly, it's on purpose".

Whatever reason he has for ghosting you after a night like that is irrelevant, he's a twat. Don't text again, ignore and rise above it.

onemorerose · 23/05/2022 23:09

mcmooberry · 23/05/2022 22:08

Nope please don't text him again. Wait a week, you won't care. He has been very, very rude to not reply to your text.

Absolutely this. So rude not to reply. Do not double text him unless it’s to tell him how rude he’s been (I may have done this in the past if I was very annoyed) but best not to send any messages. Just be your amazing self at yoga with the knowledge that you made him come with a graze of your hand.

Quackpot · 23/05/2022 23:10

Send him a photo of a condom captioned "sorted for next time 😘"

If he doesn't reply to that you have your answer....

No one would shag a stranger without one these days? #monkeypox

I know you’re being flippant and this is off the point, but monkeypox isn’t an STI as such: it’s just that it’s spread by skin to skin contact, so can pass to you during sex - so unless his cock is eight feet long and he has excellent hands-free control, a condom won’t stop you getting it.

me4real · 23/05/2022 23:21

monkeypox isn’t an STI as such: it’s just that it’s spread by skin to skin contact,

@TaranThePigKeeper It's probably most easily spread via the blood. Hence anal sex, which has a higher potential for slight abrasions etc.

Weirdlynormal · 23/05/2022 23:36

His loss OP, but to be honest, you may have dodged a bullet

mumieone · 24/05/2022 00:07

Yeah men have condoms unless he'd just finished them....

Or never uses them but couldn't freak you out this early

WTF...

BornBlonde · 24/05/2022 00:37

Ignore the advice here to text him again. It's really rude he didn't reply

Workquestion12 · 24/05/2022 00:42

Honestly OP
Dont message him again
A guy who is interested and without issue would have message you later in the day or next day max
Dont set yourself up for disappointment
You want someone who is interested and engaging and will make you feel good
I’ve been around the block and done this a million times

thevanilla · 24/05/2022 00:58

why are you tying yourself up in knots over a man who can’t be bothered to reply to you, shot his load with one brush of the hand and in return gave you ‘a vaginal rub’? this is all so cringe. He’s not into you and/ or is a dick. Move on

This. 100%

Hell0daisy · 24/05/2022 01:15

hope you have that draft message ready?? ❣️❣️

NotTerfNorCis · 24/05/2022 01:21

If he hasn't replied by now, I'd give it up. Unless he later says he lost his phone, or something.

LHReturns · 24/05/2022 01:23

He isn’t interested. Simple as that. When a man is interested - he texts.

WhatDoIDoNow3 · 24/05/2022 01:49

hairtwirl · 23/05/2022 12:20

But we didnt have a condom? Surely it would have been stupid for us to have sex without it

Not sure how old you are OP but I'm mid 20's and most people I've come across both friends and potential partners just have an sti test and present it to the partner no condom needed.

CandyLeBonBon · 24/05/2022 03:02

What a disappointment op. I'd probably be inclined not to bother texting either.

He’s definitely going to text you, i feel it in me bones! But you need to pull him up on the delay in your response, ‘took your time!’ type thing so that you can get to the bottom of it next time you meet… 🤨 I’m guessing he is a bit spun out from the emotional intimacy and is scared. But this isn’t a good sign tbf!

That said, I did used to get suddenly sick of guys that went in a bit heavy if they stayed over (never sex), especially if they took too long to leave in the morning. Must’ve been a bit of a head fu’ck for the poor lambs but being too keen is never sexy!

I left fairly promptly - I get ick when guys hang around

I also had made him aware I had a full Sunday itinary

I thought it was that he was pissed off he didnt get sex till you said about the PE.

Now I think he’s embarrassed and making you wait; then he’ll text when he thinks you’ll no longer be thinking about the PE and will just be grateful to hear from him again. Really poor on his part. Do not chase him, you’re worth more than that.

hairtwirl · 24/05/2022 05:59

Morning ladies - up at gym before work. No reply from my Saturday night Casanova

I am not texting him again however not sure if blocking is appropriate at this point as he has changed his mind (obviously) and I suppose thats not wrong.

I also dont think asking what has happened / if he is OK will make a difference (hes fine)

I am not sure it is the PE as he managed to accept a HJ fine in the morning (he honestly did not seem embarressed)

I just think hes a ghosting weirdo who must think I am buttoned up the back if I was ever to consider seeing him again (which isnt even an option as he didnt even reply to a message i sent after first sleep over - so embarressing)

I said I’d text him as I’d want to know why he’s not replying and I’d hope that a second message would help me realise if he’s ignoring me or not but actually I’ve changed my mind.

I think you should leave it a couple days at least and if he still hasn’t texted then decide whether to text him or not.
