Ive just made a post about a guy I matched with bumble. I had a look at his website and also his social media. He is wearing a ring on his ring 4th finger which looks like a signet ring. Would this be a red flag to anyone? He says he is never married and no kids aged 44

Do you mean ring finger or little finger ?

Traditionally a signet ring would be worn on the little finger of the least dominant hand, but this has been taken over by the gay community as an out and proud sign.

It looks more like those - like a signet type ring. It does not look like traditional wedding band

I have my date with Mr History tonight. Still feeling mostly excited but a bit more nervous now. I think it's just the anticipation and not knowing how it will go. He seems like a really nice guy and we seem to be getting on well so far, and he says he's very excited about meeting me, so fingers crossed 🤞🏻❤️🙂

Update: the date went well. He popped out of WFH for lunch and then apparently had been having such a nice time that he was shocked when he saw the time (and had to dash). He said he is keen to meet again and has already messaged to apologise for leaving so suddenly.

He asked if it was ok to give me a hug, which i really appreciated. (I think I am fairly cold and uninviting, so he probably didn't feel he could just duck in)

He was easy to talk to and we seem to share a lot of similar world views. He's funny and likable, and fanciable! He also is fairly tall, which I don't necessarily consider important, but it is a plus point
