A man you’re considering dating sending you fart videos

Would this put you off? A short video of him doing some DIY during which he lifts up a leg, farts loudly and says ‘that was a loud one’. I laughed it off but now he’s sent a tic tok video link of someone farting into an intercom in a store and I’m thinking our sense of humour is not aligned as I thought it was. Am I being too precious? We’ve only been talking online for 2 weeks and my immediate thought was ‘eurgh, how unsexy’.

Didn’t know my 8yo could do DIY.

NewYearEveryYear · 12/03/2022 23:38

And/or softening you up for his fart fetish.

Kanaloa · 12/03/2022 23:38

Also didn’t know he was dating yet.

I mean do you need to ask? If you find it unsexy, dump. I personally would.

HirplesWithHaggis · 12/03/2022 23:39

If he's nine, that would be mildly amusing. Is he?

MrsSkylerWhite · 12/03/2022 23:40

Of for god’s sake, why are you even asking?
Pathetic.

RedRoseRay · 12/03/2022 23:41

In his 40s I’m afraid to say. I asked a male friend who said he thought they were funny but admitted he wouldn’t send them to a woman he’d never met and was trying to impress.

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 12/03/2022 23:41

That would be a no.

RedRoseRay · 12/03/2022 23:43

A relative told me to lighten up but my immediate thought is to bin him.

Total no from me. He's not ten.

Lighten up or light them up?

florianfortescue · 12/03/2022 23:47

Not exactly Oscar Wilde, is he.

DatingDinosaur · 12/03/2022 23:48

You’ve only been chatting for 2 weeks? I wonder if he’ll follow through..

That’s funny if it’s an injoke you’ve had since you were teenagers. I wouldn’t take a relationship with this man any further, it’s deeply weird to send it to some one he hasn’t met yet and without context.

Mmmmdanone · 12/03/2022 23:50

@SheldonesqueTheBstard

Lighten up or light them up?
🤣🤣🤣
RedRoseRay · 12/03/2022 23:50

It’s a shame. I really liked him too and I don’t often really like them. Good job, loves animals, enjoys diy/gardening, handsome, etc….but the finding farting hilarious has put me right off.

Actually, now I read this back I can understand why some would think I’m a troll. It’s so childish. GrinGrin

PammieDooveOrangeJoof · 12/03/2022 23:51

Yuck, no thank you.

RedRoseRay · 12/03/2022 23:52

@Kanaloa your 8 year old might be a bit more mature than this man Wink

pammie. Love your name. Just saying. Grin

Anystarinthesky · 12/03/2022 23:54

No way.

Monty27 · 12/03/2022 23:54

Why are you even asking

Qwill · 12/03/2022 23:54

Are you even dating? If so, then your sense of humour isn’t compatible. I don’t think that would be a deal breaker for me, but if you’re having doubts this early, what’s the point?
