I have a pt session once a week and try and do 5 days in the gym on my own. Monday is my rest day as well as the day I help run Brownies. I find if I don't get my exercise in my head goes into over think mode like yesterday. My trainer mixes it up, this week we did circuits and my god I was out of breath but skipped out of the gym. I was in at 5.30 this morning and spent the day actually working so it also sets me up for the day.

As for missing old irons, I still miss Computer Geek. I also miss Mr Cricket but he hasn't disappeared just busy. I don't think he found the joke I sent him this morning funny (it was about the England cricket team mind you 😬) as he didn't reply or even send me a laughing emoji 😐 unlike the one I sent about Boris on Sunday.

I would always assume that someone into a sport, who has mates into that sport, when there is a major event on in that sport - will have seen all the jokes before me. So I'd never send them. I'm not a big "joke" sender anyway and somehow I have invariably seen any that I get sent by friends, though it's usually groups that people post memes to. MrStone has a habit of sending me annoying videos. I've asked him not to but he's incapable of stopping, I don't respond to them.
Not heard from him this week, thankfully.

No. One who revealed he's in Wales 🤦🏻‍♀️, the other two who were chatting both gone a bit quiet. Well, one owes me a reply. The other, I asked him a question (he's moving, I asked where to) and he gave a one word answer. So, he can stew. That's not how conversations work. Either he gives me more to go back on, or he asks me something.

I've got sausages out of the freezer to do slow cooker sausage casserole tomorrow, best look up a recipe!

I’ve not bumped into MrTurk on the high street this week, work’s been so busy not managed to get out at the usual time. But I’m going to get spruced up today and get out on time see if he’s about. Nice bit of eye candy and mutual staring on a friday! (ahh what has my life become….. hehe)

I messaged a bit with a tinder guy last night and it was an interesting chat (mostly about politics) when suddenly he dropped in a clear copy/paste with a bunch of dumb questions.

I was so surprised that I actually said "is that a copy/paste???"

He said no, which is an obvious lie.

Is this normal behaviour? It's so annoying to have had a good flow of chat and then to be sent what must be his usual OLD vetting tool, like it's just one of the steps in an HR process.

@gelatodipistacchio wow! What kind of things was he asking? Seems like he likes to batch message people. I wonder if he pastes everyone’s answers back into a spreadsheet

@gelatodipistacchio, those questions are pretty useless. One or two could be openers to a chat, like favourite part of London but the rest are drivel unless asked in the context of the conversation flow. It's difficult not to bin off matches like this because the fact that he has sent them says something about either him or his approach to dating. I think I can say that I never sent any cut and paste responses to anyone when I was on the apps. It impersonal enough as a starting point without adding further distance by not engaging fully in the chat.

@Stepcount that's exactly how I feel. We actually were having an interesting conversation! Why do that? And "inner Gelato" is so stupid it makes me want to barf.

@gelatodipistacchio I hate that fire question in particular, it gets asked so much and it’s very hard to come up with anything interesting in response to it.
