Elmer83 · 13/11/2021 21:15

The way I’m feeling today…money! 😂 But honestly, true love is more than anything money can buy ❤️

evelynhugo · 13/11/2021 21:19

First marriage money, second love! 💷💖 Old cynic here.

Viviennemary · 13/11/2021 21:19

I think Elizabeth Bennett got it right. Marry for love. But make sure you fall in love with a rich man.

spotcheck · 13/11/2021 21:22

u marry for love

vipersputpaidtomylastusername · 13/11/2021 21:22

Honestly? Money.

FissionMailed · 13/11/2021 21:22

Neither.

soapboxqueen · 13/11/2021 21:23

I think that very much depends on the situation you're in.

If I'm living in a very poor country where starvation, destitution are common. Then money. Assuming that said person is nice, it's just that I'm not in love with them.

Living as I do in an affluent country with more opportunities and better infrastructure, I'd choose love.

Mhingmighty · 13/11/2021 21:24

Get a decent job and make your own money

Nyxly · 13/11/2021 21:24

Its really not that simple.

If tbe one you love has completely mismatched opinions on money its not going to work. Very different to someone with similar values bit who doesn't earn alot.

If the one who has money is someone you have genuine affection for, you can grow to love them. But then they could be a dick.

Personally, if I was actually asking myself this question and couldn't decide I would say neither.

Because you don't live or care enough for the one with money to consider them a long term prospect for a relationship.

Then the one you love, you either don't really love them OR you have big misgivings about who they are and wether it would work. So not them either.

This is so true! I have always found ambition and a whiff of arrogance irresistible, and men like that usually have fairly decent prospects Blush
Essexmum321 · 13/11/2021 21:26

and a 50/50 chance they will cheat on you

Cas112 · 13/11/2021 21:27

Get a decent job and make your own money
Exactly never rely on a man (or woman)
wanttomarryamillionaire · 13/11/2021 21:30

Money! Love gets old money doesn't.

IWillFindYou · 13/11/2021 21:31

Money.
Stupidest thing woman could do is being in a relationship/marry for love.

IStoppedBelieving · 13/11/2021 21:32

Love doesn’t exist.
Money does.
So, money.

lunarlandscape · 13/11/2021 21:32

Love. But I'd never fall in love with a complete loser, so part of love is the appreciation of and attraction for a man who has done well.

Waimaz · 13/11/2021 21:33

Money 1000000% iv already did love

HarryLimeFoxtrot · 13/11/2021 21:33

Love. I earn a six figure salary, so I’ve got money covered.

lunarlandscape · 13/11/2021 21:33

I feel sorry for all those suggesting money not love. You could marry a rich abusive man - loads of women do. Or a rich man who is controlling with the cash.

Why not make your own money? Or fall in love with a rich man?

Dollywilde · 13/11/2021 21:33

Marry someone with a similar level of affluence to you. Marrying significantly richer or poorer is a recipe for disaster IME.

Love is the most important element, but can’t override the importance of the above.

sqirrelfriends · 13/11/2021 21:34

Same here. I would 100% choose someone driven over a euro millions winner.

beccahamlet · 13/11/2021 21:34

Love.
