Lingerie…just can’t be arsed with it

I can barely summon up the enthusiasm for sex. It’s usually ok in the end. Menopausal, stress job, stressy husband, lots of stuff going on.

He really likes me to wear lingerie. I haven’t for ages. I used to quite like it but, just can’t be arsed.

Should I just suck it up as just a harmless little thing that keeps him happy and make the effort once in a while?

I really don't think that most men in relationships have anything close to those kind of expectations at all and most are attracted to their partners no matter what.

I personally think most men are dickheads but that is one of their redeeming features as a group lol

Of course there are assholes who do complain and compare and expect a lot of grooming but I don't think they are the norm.[/quote]
My experience of men had been the opposite but I agree of a man is happy with his partner just as much effort as she does that great and if she or he WANTS to dress up then all’s good Smile

And to be clear I’ve never met a man Ho would be happy for me to never wear makeup ever or shave my legs armpits or not look after my skin and hair .
All that I’ve known say they like the ‘ natural look ‘ but the reality had been very different
I’m sure they exist just not my experience

I like dressing up for me, and grooming for me. If the guy likes it more the better, and yes I would wear things he likes sometimes, why not? |Its about creating the mood.

@Notanotherchange Totally agree - I would feel horrid if he whisked my clothes off to discover me in my worst set of underwear and ungroomed - I think it would be such a turn off. An ex partner was amazed at the lovely underwear I used to wear - he said his ex never bothered and wore a baggy old t shirt in bed !?

^ is he an ex because he compared his partners? Not cool. This is less of an attractive trait to me than a baggy old t shirt.

I was married for 15 years, never bought or wore lingerie for my DH because he made me feel unsexy, with men since I've worn it lots because I feel actually desired

” An ex partner was amazed at the lovely underwear I used to wear - he said his ex never bothered and wore a baggy old t shirt in bed !?”

She sounds chill and cool.

I hope you’re not trying to say there is something wrong wearing what one likes.
Or has to wear what they don’t like for someone else?
