But if I go back a few years when I was at non muggle school .. I actually quite liked the geeky ginger kid but I think he froze me with his big ... wand

ChateauxNeufDePoop · 08/09/2021 12:51

Ran into an ex running a bar whilst travelling through Morocco with current hubby. Old feelings resurfaced but we managed to control them and ex ended up giving me a couple of letters of transit so we could flee the third reich via an aeroplane. He even insisted my husband went with me too when he could easily have come instead.

Ifartglitterybaubles · 08/09/2021 12:59

I met him at an intensive driving course, we weren't perfect, but it he was my one until I passed my driving test, the day I got my licence he'd moved on. I now drive past his street, all sad and forlorn and spend my days comparing myself to his new gf.

OldChinaJug · 08/09/2021 13:02

I met him at the local sweet shop. He turned around, smiled at me and, well, you get the picture. I completely fell for him.

Sadly, the story doesn't have a happy ending. My parents disapproved of him - he was a bit of a bad boy, rode a motorbike and they thought he came from the wrong side of town. So I had to end things with him.

Unfortunately, he was really upset and rode away on his bike really fast. I called after him to go slow but I don't think he heard me...

I'll never forget him...

I was close to death and heavily pregnant and my foster brother wept and begged me to haunt him because he would be in eternal torment without me.

When he heard I’d died he banged his head against a tree until it bled.

15 years later her arranged a fucked up marriage with my daughter and his son.

Oh and he dug up my body and cuddled it for a bit.

We live in Yorkshire.

Most romantic story ever.

lawofdistraction · 08/09/2021 16:26

I split up with my ex years ago but can't seem to get over him. I regularly get the train to his town and hang around outside his address. I stand outside his house but I don't think he lives there now.

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/09/2021 16:49

I met him on a Monday and my heart stood still
Somebody told me that his name was Bill

But I had a brain fart and kept calling him Ron
#Embarrassing

FourTeaFallOut · 08/09/2021 17:07

I was going to get married to some guy who fucked off to work overseas and then ghosted me. Meanwhile, I fell in love with an older guy who seems to think I'm the love of his life from a past life Confused Pretty sure he fucked my best mate and killed her but...bygones. He sneaks into my room at night and I feel weak at the knees around him. I think I'm causing a bit of a shitstorm for all the people who are around me but it beats cross-stitch.

mh123kl · 08/09/2021 17:11

On a train, I was visiting my grandmother in Vienna and I met this bloke who asked me to get off the train with him and walk around until sunrise. I took the risk and we had a great time just talking. We arranged to meet at the same place but I couldn't show up as my grandmother died. He got married and had a son.

TiffanyIceberg · 08/09/2021 17:14

One time, at band camp....

YesPleaseMary · 08/09/2021 17:23

We kept finishing each other’s sandwiches.
Turns out he only wanted me for one thing.
Wrecked another guy’s sleigh, ended up with him when I bought him a new one.

ArseNelbow · 08/09/2021 17:25

It all started when I bought a brand new combine harvester. I had 20 acres at the time and he had 43...

I met a woman in a bar in Memphis where just about everyone was off their heads drunk on gin. She insisted I go upstairs with her but I was very drunk myself having been drowning my sorrows to forget about an ex girlfriend so she picked me up, put me over her shoulder and that was that.

Shortly after, I was in New York and FWB of a divorcee. She was a bit on the dominant side so I was always having to defend myself. Once she covered me with roses and then blew my nose - which I found very strange - but afterwards, my goodness . . . . . she blew my mind.

I sometimes get the blues thinking about those women.

ILoveYou3000 · 08/09/2021 17:36

I met him in Jamaica. He was the barman and helped when my friend got too drunk and passed out in the sun. We were so happy until he accepted a bet to bed some old lush. I saw him and flew back home, heartbroken. He found me and I had to tell him I was pregnant. He reacted badly so I kicked him out and ran away to my parents to hide. He found me again and my dad tried to buy him off. His best mate who treated him like shit killed himself so the love of my life realised life was too short and came to find me. My dad told me he'd cut me off if I went with him after there was a fight. I went. He managed to fulfil his dream of buying his own bar, and I spooked him again when I told him it was twins. We named them Flugalbinder and Brian Jr and lived happily ever after.

SuffolkPunch27 · 08/09/2021 17:45

He was my best friend.....invited me to his wedding to some blonde bird. I didn't realise just how much I felt about him at first until I knew he was getting married. Tried my utmost to break off the wedding. My gay friend made me see sense! He's now happily married to the blonde bird. You win some.....you lose some

Mycatismadeofstringcheese · 08/09/2021 17:51

We were eating spaghetti (you know when you’re really hungry and you stick your face into your dinner).
We’ll it turned out we were both eating the same strand of spaghetti but from different ends!
Our lips drew closer and closer together.

SpindleWhorl · 08/09/2021 17:55

Every Friday night is romantic for me. I make a delicious dinner for when Jeffrey comes home from the city and I say to him, 'mmmm, how good is that?' and he smiles adoringly at the over-priced ingredients from the Hamptons Artisanal Deli Shoppe assembled into a professional-style stew.

Jeffrey loves coming home on Fridays from the city, to be filmed telling me how great his life with me is. It's deeply etched into his face. Deeply.

poppym12 · 08/09/2021 17:57

I met her in a hotel lobby. Strange girl she was, seemed to be a bit of an exhibitionist (a bit of 'me time' in public whilst waving a magazine around).

Turns out she was rather experienced, lived in a castle and used a lot of sex toys.

Nikki her name was, what a Darling.

JumpLeadsForTwo · 08/09/2021 17:59

I was a shy 2nd fiddle to a famous opera singer. My music teacher who was a bit of an oddball recluse pushed me forward for the
Main part then I became famous. This gorgeous young man obviously fell in love with me, and we had fun, but then my music teacher declared his undying love. It was v romantic - all candles and mood lighting and even a lake. To be honest though it was a bit OTT. I planned to elope with handsome guy, but then my music teacher flipped out, declared revenge and even broke the chandelier in our theatre. Some guy was murdered but I'm not sure what happened there. He did calm down though and I ran off with handsome guy. I do wonder sometimes whether I chose the right man - a crazy obsessive does wonders for your self esteem!

Onthedunes · 08/09/2021 18:17

Yes I remember it well.........

He told me I was too good to be true, could'nt keep his eyes off of me, said I was like heaven to touch, now he won't answer my calls.

username06834 · 08/09/2021 19:22

you may have heard this one before, but it's true guv, all of it.

I was 16 and naive. We went to a summer resort, me, my sister and my parents. My dad was a Dr. I loved my dad, dearly and up until that time, he was the man for me and in his eyes I could do no wrong.

I got involved in some dancing at the summer camp. I danced dirty, that's what they called it. I helped out one of the dancers and fell in love with her dance partner. Carried a melon.

I danced and danced. You couldn't keep me in a corner, I tell you. Alas, it was just a summer of dance as I had to say goodbye to my private dancer. He was all that but I was middle class and going to an ivy league and he was working class, uneducated and wiped his nose with his sleeve.

I was going to change the world and he was just going to dance. I think he was also a gigolo, not sure though. I'll never forget my summer love.

A while later, after a graduated in medicine like my dad, I rented a lake house. I found messages in the post box at the end of the drive from a man in the past or was it the future, I forget now.

We fell in love over the letters we wrote to each other. I was a Dr and tres biz and he was an architect and told me he built the house. Fell in love we did.

VienneseWhirligig · 08/09/2021 19:36

I was a hotshot lawyer in NYC, and had a fling with a bartender. We split up after my friend told me he was punching above his weight, but then he got cancer and had a ball removed, so I gave him a pity shag and he knocked me up, despite my lazy ovary. Anyway after we coparented for a while I realised he was the one and we ended up married. He eventually cheated but I forgave him.

username06834 · 08/09/2021 19:47

I met him in a sweet shop. Turned around and ours eyes met over the sugar mice and we fell in love. Everyone told me he was bad news but I saw his soft centre and knew he was just sad.

My dad told me to dump him so I had to break the news to Jimmy while we shared a curly wurly. Didn't have the heart to tell him he had chocolate on his teeth.

He was upset and cried, then drove off really fast on his motorbike in the rain. I kissed him gently and asked him to go slow but he didn't listen, he was the leader of the pack you see. Crashed and died he did. I'll never forget my leader of the pack.

Watch out!
