I went on my honeymoon after the war to the Highlands, and touched a big rock. Went back in time and had to marry some braw clansman. Worked out ok but he doesn't always believe me about germs and cars.

I’d gone on holiday and met a really handsome dancer. My dad had to give this dancer’s partner an abortion. Anyway, I had to take the place of the dancer’s partner for a show and had to practice all the moves to be ready on the night. One move we couldn’t get right so we had to practice in the lake. The show was great and I even got the tricky move right and we kissed and then some other stuff happened.

He had me at "d'ye like Pina Colada?"

My car got towed so I had to walk home. Walked into a bar where he was playing piano. Unfortunately he was a twat. Met again at a party a few weeks later and ultimately ended up together but unfortunately he was still a twat, just disguising it well.
We ended up splitting and I got an amazing job while he just manages a shitty bar, but he'll always be the one who got away

I went on a cruise to New York in an unsinkable ship. A lad from ‘below deck’ caught my eye and then painted me in a car (I know, I know, sounds far fetched)

Then the boat sank and there wasn’t room on the raft for him.

Banished to the forest, I disguised myself as a boy and ran into my true love, also unable to go home. It all got very complicated, but in the end, true love prevailed.

Had to go to a new school because I'd moved states, met this boy who was very aloof with me and had a very strange family but we got chatting and it turned out he was all sparkly and shit! Reader, I married him.

I was living in a very tall home at the time with an extremely long braid, since I wasn't allowed out to seek a hairdresser. Anyway, I met this dude, but there was a barrier to romance because we had to shout for him to hear me. He suggested using my hair as a makeshift rope. We eloped and are now very happy.

Sorry to break the musical magic but I had to share this. DPs best friend is 6 foot 4 and built like an outhouse. In his single days, he was on a flight once and ended up somehow shagging the lady in the next seat to him in the airplane toilet.

My dad’s a minister and we live in this really conservative town where it’s hard to have fun and be a normal teenager. Anyhow a new boy came to our school and wow he was so cute and different. We managed to organise a school prom and it was awesome, I totally fell in love with him while he was teaching me and our friends how to dance.

DH and I were both supposed to be on dates with other people. Mine was so dull I decided to go and do karaoke at a local bar instead. DH was down on his luck and planning to rob the till of said bar. When he heard my beautiful singing he was so entranced he forgot to steal the money. We looked into each other’s eyes and the rest is history.
