It's not an iPhone. I don't know what I'm doing. I get out of the app. I panic. Hit another button. Whatsapp. It's a chat with a friend of his where he's detailing what we got up to on our last date.

Also scrolling back. I'm half a bottle of wine down. He says he might not see me again as I'm not his type.

You should have made your excuses and left as soon as you read the messages, and definitely not told him. As this is only your fourth date, you really don't know this man or what he could be capable of when rejected. I hope you got home safely OP.

the op should not have been told to mess about making playlists/leaving a mess in the toilet or anything else, thats just irresponsible. some men don't take rejection well and this could have endangered the op. we haven't heard from her.......so i'm really hoping she is safe and not another statistic

I had similar op, I walked out ( eventually) - him begging me not too go and standing by the door refusing too let me leave. I hope you got home safely and told him to piss off.

Hmmm....I couldn't decide whether my date "wasn't my type" a couple of dates in and was still dating another other men. I wasn't used to men like him (older, educated, a bit eccentric)
A few dates later I started to really like him..stopped seeing the other guys.
20 years later were married with four dc's. He's the love of my life. It's not always love at first sight 🤷‍♀️

2 or 3 dates in with my now DH I told our mutual friend that I wasn’t sure he “did it” for me (we had already slept together). She convinced me to stick with him and everything clicked shortly afterwards; we have never looked back, just celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary and our amazing DS will be 5 next week. I wouldn’t worry too much about what he said.
