I am in a happy long-term relationship and don't really envy anything/want to change anything. But...

DH and I were both very impressed when we stayed with an old friend and his wife recently and our friend did all the packing for a weekend's camping as his wife was working that morning. Organising and life admin is very much my department (DH works FT, and I am really quite part time, so it's fair enough).

We are very similar people, which is a good thing in many ways, but also we are both shit at the same things. Both very happy to cook, take the kids to sports etc, neither of us keen to assemble flat pack furniture. I definitely have a small, appropriate amount of envy for those with handy, fix-it type partners.

@Poolbridge

I can’t think of a single relationship amongst my wider friends and family that I envy. I know what happens behind the fascade; there isn’t much to be envious of.
Exactly.

Any living-apart-together relationships.
But that's what I have so no envy here.
