I’m not a gin drinker these days after, ahem, a rather large saturation once which has left me rather put off by the taste and even smell. Although when I’m being virtuous I do enjoy the premade alcohol free Gordon’s G&Ts with a hint of lime.

However, I’m with you on the Gavi & agree the Lidl one is very good value indeed. I will investigate the Malbec.

I’m a big gnocchi fan too. The Roasting Tin series of cookbooks by Rukmini Iyer have quite a few recipes with gnocchi, most of which are quite quick to make too.

Tarquins gin is the dogs wotsits. It’s the best Cornish gin and I’ve tried a few 😁

Tarquins is absolutely fab, love it. Just the bog standard one, but they do some lovely flavoured ones. I tried a elderflower one at a their event booth a couple of years ago, that was gorgeous!

I like fever tree tonic on its own, but I find it far far too strong flavoured to have as a mixer. Have you tried the fever tree mediterranean tonic - it's much lighter. But I agree, Schweppes is lovely.

I got the figgy pud flavoured tarquins at Xmas and that's rather nice. Warming
