@pineappleonpizzaornot and @Isitreally777 what two utter shitheads. Not that mine was any better.
Pineapple read your post again and rejoice that this guy is not your problem any more!

@onemorerose - Thank you, you are so right! He turned into someone I didnt know at all, and the "good fuck" comment totally killed me, how someone can be so degrading when you once shared a life with them! He is her problem now, and with having 5 (small) kids between them, the shit will hit the fan pretty quick! She is also (almost) from my home town, so he obviously likes the A1 Grin.

@onemorerose he definitely was and I know I shouldn't be smug as I do still care for him but karma is a bitch. Whilst I've sorted my life out he is still drifting from one disaster to another.

@pineappleonpizzaornot just think karma will get him one day.

@Isitreally777 - Thanks, it already has really, who wants 5 kids round their ankles, it was enough for him to have his every other weekend, never mind throwing 2 more into the mix, where as I have all the free time I want, my kids are all big and strong and grown up now Smile

@Angelofdeath lol at your mum Grin, I went on holiday with my mum and kids 4 years ago to Greece, she stayed out partying with my eldest one night, I went to bed early. and when I went to the pool the next day a number kept ringing my phone and an Australian guy was ringing me from the other side of the pool!! Unbeknownst to me the night before, my Mum had bumped into him, told him all about my sad sorry life, thought he seemed nice so gave him my number!! She showed him photos of me (all clothed!) and he wouldn't leave me alone for the rest of my holiday, I had to go hide in a bar one afternoon to get away from him! I would have quite happily left her on the tarmac at the airport!
She had some guys round just as the first lock down eased doing some work on her extension, and kept telling me the younger was really nice and he had been single all of 12 hours! So embarrassing!
Sometimes I do wonder if I am mentally scarred by her!
The Bob one made me laugh, my stepdad is Bob, bald and short! has he been out drinking with your Mum! Grin
I walked away from my ex with more bloody credit than I have ever had, and he had less than he had ever had.....he also earned three times more than me! I even took to up-cycling furniture in the evenings after work so we had money to take HIS kids out, and he would say the mess did his head in! I was doing 15 hours days so hi could treat his kids....PRICK! Not once did he offer to pick up a paint brush and help me.

If you were going to cosmically order your perfect man what would you ask for? Im not even bothered too much about looks, I just like men who are hardworking, genuine, funny and kind! Seems to be impossible to find though.
@Angelofdeath nooooo to any man living with his mum at 34 years old!! What a turnoff 😖

Oooh new thread! @Isitreally777 have fun on your date? Is this the first meet? I was wondering before if he was hiding something hence not meeting you but this sounds promising!

@Shayelle2009 - I dont want much in a man, just Tom Hardy Grin. Honestly though, someone who can communicate with me, big problem in my last relationship! Loyal, trusting, funny all the normal crap, Im not one of these that says blue eyes, over 6ft, earns over £30k, dark hair, drives a new car, owns his own home etc. Just someone I can laugh with and feel safe with, and makes me feel good about me, not feel shitty and not good enough, also a problem in my last relationship! Surely there has got to be a few of them out there!

@pineappleonpizzaornot im sorry you are having a bad day . What you've said about how your ex treated you... i had all that with mine, it nearly broke me.. it was over 4 years ago now and I've not been involved with anyone since and i do wonder if he messed me up so much I now dont give anyone a chance. Its really natural to still feel gutted about things and its been such a crappy year anyway its hard not to feel down in general, let alone thinking about that too. You will come through x

@Eesha thank you. Yes we still haven't got as far as a first date (you really couldn't make it up!). I too was thinking he might have been hiding something (other than the urinals in the photoGrin) but right now who knows.

@Isitreally777 so he hasn't met you yet after this long? I really think get rid if this doesn't materialise. He may be playing you, fake identity, catfish?....

Report
Isitreally777 · 26/01/2021 15:39

@Eesha those thoughts had crossed my mind too. He is on his last chance right now. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because of his situation last year, he has no excuse now as he no longer lives in the same house as his ex.

I had to google Ed Burns as well, was thinking of the comedian.

@Angelofdeath can you order one of those for me too, except replace cats with dogs. And add is actually interested in me and shows it!

Eesha · 26/01/2021 18:46

@onemorerose not the comedian! Just this beautiful looking man!

@Angelofdeath oh he sounds lovely!! I want one of those!! Nearby would definitely be good... not too near though, Ive made that mistake before and it was a disaster... maybe next town away would be perfect!!
