When did you meet the one and have children?

I'm almost 33 and yet to find this - is there hope?

Met at 24, DC1 at 27 then (very happy!) gunshot wedding at 28 and DC2 at 31. Been together nearly 20 years now.

Unusual in my circle, though. My three closest friends were early-mid thirties when they met their partners and mid-late thirties when they started families.

Met 20, married 25, babies at 29 & 33. I was lucky .

Met age 19! Married at 27. First dc at 31, then another at 34.

One of my closest friends met her now DH at age 31, she is now 37 and they are married with three dcs. So although she met her DH 12 years later than I met mine, she is ahead in terms of dcs!

Met at 19, married at 20 and baby at 30.

Met at 32, married at 33, babies at 34 and 36. He was three years older than me.

Met my DH at University. Got married year after we graduated ( had known each other for 3 years ). Pregnant following year ,totally unplanned. Been married 20 years 3 kids.

Met at 25 and had planned ds at 28.

2nd baby 2 years after first and still very happily together 27 years later

I met my husband when we were both 28, had our first dc and got married last year at 32 and I'm pregnant with number 2 now at 33.

I met DH at 37, married and pregnant at 38, baby DD born when I was 39.

Met DP at 34 on Tinder, TTC now at 36.

Met just before 36th birthday, married 2 years later eldest born a year after that and youngest 2 years later, just turned 41

I spent years so anxiously trying to meet 'the one' as I longed to start a family from a young age. I dated the wrong types of men and had my heart broken what felt like many times over. In 2015 aged 37 I met a lovely man, a friend of friend of mine. Aged 39 our first son was born and last year aged 41 we had our second. Never lose hope.. my mum must have told me a million times 'it would happen' but I never believed her.. once I started changing my outlook and started enjoying my life and being happy with me things started to happen

I met DH at 32, chose not to have kids, but just wanted to say don't give up!

Met at 17, married just before 30 and had first child at 31.

We met when I was 38, child at 40, engaged to be married at 43

Met 19, married 24, first child at 25

I never met the one. I had my child anyway and was a single mum. I've never met a man that's any good.

Met when I was 22. Got together at 24 and had first child at 34.

Met at 18, had DD1 at 27,dd2 at 29 and ds3 at 31. I'm now 39 and DH has just had a vasectomy reversal as we want another baby. Our children are now 8,10 and 12.
