I didn't realise I'd have to start a new thread - it's amazing the amount of people that have offered advice / made me laugh, it's appreciated

It was the strangest thing! Yes Yeo Valley yoghurts and milk Confused

I've not been able to change the locks but I've double locked the door this afternoon, as he doesn't have a key for the bottom lock

I do however, have his bike at mine (which won't fit in my car, only his)

Just get that lock barrel changed OP.

lurkingattheback · 15/10/2020 17:37

Do get the lock changed, he may return a key but he may have made copies.

Dontbeme · 15/10/2020 17:37

@droopyears

An update to make you chuckle! I have just received a message from The Token Thief stating that he is 'tired of my shit', and if it happens again then 'he's done' Hmm

Perfect text for me to respond to to end things!

Just text "Okay, you can drop my key and tokens back at X time on X day and collect your bits then, I have them packed up for you" no messing, no fuss, no way for him to argue you back around.
slipperywhensparticus · 15/10/2020 17:37

@droopyears

I've not replied yet. Oh the irony of it, telling me we'll be done if I carry on, when in fact we are done already

Am curious to know what my 'shit' is (I won't ask)

Is it acceptable to have a glass of wine at 5pm mid-week?

Thats a perfect response

On the xbox go to the main screen go to friends click on his profile it should have options remove friend unfollow block etc and shunt his arse into the nether

nickelbabe · 15/10/2020 17:38

@MzHz

Agreed, some people use MN as a substitute for a Netflix subscription

@droopyears you have come such a long way in such a short time AND been manically busy with work AND had the dc to sort out ON TOP of having a bloody cold

Of course we all would like to know how things are going, because we know you need the support, but you’re the one living this and you owe none of us anything

Brew for you - you’re doing just fine

I'm not sure what you're getting at MzHz - i thought MN was a Netflix substitute. I've obviously been using it wrong this entire time ConfusedGrinGrin
ContessaDiPulpo · 15/10/2020 17:40

Please write 'Remember Yeo Valley!' on a post it and stick it on your fridge Grin the ridiculousness of it will hopefully be a good support!

DancingInTheGarden · 15/10/2020 17:42

Enjoy the wine. I'm sorry you've gone from what you thought was an okay relationship to this shit show in so short a time. But i hope it means you don't fall for this crap again and have a better life with your kids. Also you'll have LOADS of spare cash now so party on!

What an absolute walloper.

Message him back and say "I assume you haven't spoken to to your sister. I asked her earlier about dropping off your things. Maybe she, like me and your mum, is also sick of your shit. Please ask her to let me know if that suits or if I should leave it bagged up outside my door with your bike."

Then block.

What did you say to the sister? Wonder why she's not been in touch with him?

sapnupuas · 15/10/2020 17:53

I've no idea what the Yeo Valley Tokens are for but he sounds like a tosser.

Sunnydaysstillhere · 15/10/2020 17:55

Using your dc is low... Get him blocked.

Hahahahahahahaha. What a prick.

"Phew, glad we are on the same page. In fact I was one step ahead so speak to your sister as I let her know earlier I'd be dropping your stuff off at hers. Bye!"

PeppaPrick · 15/10/2020 18:11

Send him a picture of this images.app.goo.gl/W9BM5avPm8V9Lz196 and tell him go shine his balls somewhere else. (Sorry, too stupid to imbed images 🤷‍♀️ ) The cheek of him.

AhNowTed · 15/10/2020 18:27

I know we've moved on but Jesus what type of man would steal feckin milk tokens from a single mother with children. I can't get over that.

But anyway Wineto you OP.

You're doing great.

HelenUrth · 15/10/2020 18:28

Reply saying I'm so sorry, please forgive me, I'll make it up to you.

Then 5 minutes later, send another message saying Just kidding. Fuck off.

Genius! Do this.
TheNestedIf · 15/10/2020 19:13

He wouldn't be taking any shit if he hadn't already taken so much piss.

HaggieMaggie · 15/10/2020 19:16

I’m incensed. I’m alternating between a long email pointing out all his flaws, wishing him well and hoping he can work on his faults or a short sassy response and a block on all social media.

What a twat.

FlapsInTheWind · 15/10/2020 19:17

Reminds me of the 'D'P I had when my DMum was dying. I had been with him 4 years. He rang me and asked me to go over to his. I said no as Mum was so ill and I was caring for her. He said that if I didn't go that night to not bother ever again and I put the phone down on him.

A few weeks after the funeral I went to his place and collected my stuff and I was done. He tried to make me out to be the unreasonable one.
Why are they like this? Total jerk behaviour.

BrowncoatWaffles · 15/10/2020 19:17

Definitely time for wine Wine

S111n20 · 15/10/2020 19:28

Hahaha he’s laughable. Enjoy your wine 🍷

Itisbetter · 15/10/2020 19:43
