@LuckyAmy1986

I also like to look like a grown adult female

I don't get rid of my hair but I don't get this at all... If I prefer a man clean shaven does that mean I want a little boy?! (I don't by the way) Such a stupid argument.

Oh but I do shave my legs and underarms... I am guessing the women who think getting rid rid of pubic hair makes you look pre-pubescent also don't remove hair from these areas? Other that would be hypocritical.

Completely agree!

A lot of women shave or wax their legs, underarms and so on and it's not pre-pubescent as you said.
A lot of women also love to play up their womanly curves with bras that enhance their boobs for example...or shapewear or lingerie that shows off their womanly hips and bum and so on. Some add heels and so on.
Also a lot of women like to wear make up to glam up their features.

But the lazy argument often trotted out is that by getting rid of pubic hair women want their vaginas to look like little girls vaginas and that men like it for that reason too.

It makes no sense at all!

@iklboo

Only if you want his genitalia clean shaven.

People who say about looking like girls boys are being dicks aren't they It's a adults body just no hair duh 🙄

@LadyIronDragon

It would be a hard NO from me on the waxing. I don't like pain for a start, and I also like to look like a grown adult female. It's not popular on MN but I would find it a bit ick for a man to express a strong preference for complete hairlessness. Neat and tidy and short is one thing but totally bald, is not for me. It's really up to you on that front though.

Food play maybe. Can't see the appeal particularly but since it wouldn't be painful (presumably?!) And could be tasty I would consider it.

I'd still look like a grown adult female just with no hair 😕 what an odd thing to say Hmm

And exactly what reason would you ascribe to men wanting hairlessness? It's certainly not so they look more womanly, which is what the other things you've mentioned all do - heels, bras etc. They enhance a post-pubescent body to look more curvaceous, more womanly. They don't try to make it look as though it hasn't gone through puberty.

As for leg hair my toddlers have hairy legs. The only agreement I have is in relation to underarm hair.

Ok so women can express a preference but only if it aligns with the cool wives club. Good to know.

Octoberbreeze · 03/10/2020 18:12

U think a man who fancies trying hair free likes pre pubescent girls....what a twisted mind have

Oh there I was, scanning through, looking for the usual 'pre-pubescent child' comment that always crops up on these threads, only this time it turned up as a 'grown adult female' comment.

If the only difference between your vag looking like a 'grown adult female' vulva or not, is a bit of pubic hair, then you should probably go and get it looked at because you've got a problem.

Octoberbreeze · 03/10/2020 18:15

Don't like it dont do it iron...but take your twisted ideas and jump
Bet you're a laugh trying to link a bit of a fun twist on sex with paedophilia.....how weird

So true I wonder about the mentality of someone drawing a comparison to a child..... my body is very much an adult female

Someone who can only tell the difference between an adult's genitalia and a child's genitalia by the presence or absence of pubic hair probably needs to be on a sex offenders register.

SoulofanAggron · 03/10/2020 18:21

@Octoberbreeze Some places do do 'back, sack and crack.'

Personally I've given up a lot of these practices, leg shaving and pum-pum depilating. Why should we do them, if it's just because men want us to? They can fuck off if they want all that. I find it a real chore. I refuse.

I do do underarms and my hairy chin/upper lip. If it were going to see the light of day for someone I probably would trim my bush a bit.

Another problem with all the shaving etc is if you do it early in a relationship people probably expect you to carry it on.

What you're saying is he's asked you to get something done for a sex act which you're not sure you particularly like the idea of. If you don't particularly get excited at the thought of doing a thing, don't do it. xxx

It was just a bit of fun Grin now he is a pervert who likes girls, Shock go clutch pearls and grow up

Why did you ask the 'question' if you don't want to know people's opinions?

My concern woould be that you're being asked to do something sexual when you don't really like the sound of it, and feel you have to go along with it.

Since there's a fair amount of defensiveness and there's clear lack of willingness to acknowledge or even think about the deeper reasons behind certain trends, I think I'll leave.

The OP asked for views, I provided mine. I am allowed preferences for whatever reason I like, but these are apparently unacceptable to those highly defensive about waxing.

Also I'm not sure where the idea that someone who prefers some pubic hair somehow gets confused between a child's genitals and an adult's genitals without hair came from. Confused

GilbertMarkham · 03/10/2020 18:30

In zoomed in photos of a vulva with no perspective, how would you .. just for the sake of argument.

The "sense" is that children's genitals have no hair while sexually mature people's genitals always have hair.

I was hardly the first poster to mention it - of was already being debated.

Who said you like a child?

My point was that when you remove absolutely all public hair from a vulva, it looks similar to that of a child's.

GilbertMarkham · 03/10/2020 18:40

Women remove their hair to get rid of the hair.
It's NOT to make it look as though it hasn't gone through puberty. Don't attribute a thought process to the procedure that simply isn't accurate!

As for men who want hairlessness. I just assume they like it and think it looks better that way....just like the way some women have preferences for what they think looks better for mens pubic areas!
