Secret planning to leave DH - days to go .

Hi there - previous thread started with DH AWOL , arrested for drink driving . Final straw for me in out marriage , planning to leave in secret on Thursday. 6 days to go . Feeling shit about everything - pain the kids will have to go through , pain and upset his family and him . Wishing he was a reasonable person enough that we could separate amicably. Wishing I could predict which way this is going to go- hating the double life I am currently leading .Sad started this thread just for the hand holding whilst the proverbial hits the fan over the next 7 days !

I'm hoping that OP is exhausted from moving and setting things up in her new home, and her children are okay, that she's either gone to bed for a good sleep or her family are with her giving her support and some love and laughter.

Hi everyone ! Wow your support is amazing ! Everything went well , we are in new house , children are ok . Obviously they were a little upset but I didn't rush them , gave them time to be sad and ask questions and they have gone to bed ok after a Chocolat muffin and a glass of milk . DH announced last night he didn't want to go to golf so I was panicking but my amazing sisters and beat mates helped. One was cleaning new house , one was unpacking , one was moving and arrnageing stuff. Honestly it was so moving and humbling for those amazing people to help . I am ok , enjoying a tumbler of wine as have no wine glasses !! Have not eaten all day but feel more settled than I have felt on so so long . Amazing feeling . Amazing.

And , I know I will never meet any of you in RL and I know MN is anonymous but that is exactly why it has been such a huge help to me over the years x so thank you all too xFlowers
