How did you meet your OH

Haven't seen one of these threads for a while... so.... how did you meet your OH?

At the pub. He was a wingman and I was a wingwoman and neither of us really wanted to be there. I hadn't even washed my hair! 13 years later still happy as clams.

I met my DH when I was working in a bar.. something just clicked I never usually paid any attention to men that would pay me attention whilst at work but him, well I couldn't not, we followed each other about all evening 😂 8 years on married with 2 DC's happiest I've ever been!

At university 42 years ago. Been married 35.

Online dating 7 years ago

First night working in a pub. He had to show me the ropes and I thought he was gorgeous. Still do twenty years later.

We were set up on a date by a lovely mutual friend who used to work with me and now works with him. 18 months and counting, and we are very very happy.

At work. We still work together.

I'm surprised so many say OLD.

It is absolute hell on earth

at a roller disco when we were 14. i was standing outside and he asked me for a swig of my cider 😂 a few days later he took me on a date to mcdonald’s and bought me a bar of soap from the body shop. 13 years and (almost) 4 kids later we’re still together, and go to the roller disco (adult session now and no cider) every anniversary.

OLD. He was my second date (first was a disaster!). Engaged to be married now

I was working as an estate agent and he came into the branch. Got chatting (obvious attraction) and he invited me out to lunch. Married 33 years, two adult children and we run a business together now.

Work. Colleague left and dropped me right in it organizing something.
He was one of the contacts and seemed friendly.
We dated end of March, got engaged mid May
17yrs and counting

Uni - first week of term in the physics subsidiary lab. 40 years ago (how the heck did that happen? . ) We got together during the first summer vac.

At the girl guide center in India.

My friend and I went out on a Saturday night to a bar. We were approached by two guys (Andy A and Andy B) and they talked to one each. I had Andy B and my friend had Andy A. We chatted for about 30 mins when I realised that Andy A was going to be my husband and told him there and then! So, my friend (kindly😂) switched who we were talking with! I went home with Andy A that night and my friend was a bridesmaid! We always joke that I stole Andy A but in a months time, I will be a bridesmaid at her wedding.

I married my boss late DH and I worked together for a number of years before finally getting together, to the amazement of everyone we knew. Got married within the year and had only 2 years together as a married couple before I lost him. I miss him everyday

At a club, I was being persued by a bloke who I wasn't interested in and was annoying me, I saw him proping up the bar, thought he looked nice and asked him if I could pretend to be with him and would he put his arm round me.
We have been married 42 years.

OLD after getting fed up (a few shitty dates a few decent dates) and a bit jaded of waiting for men to message me I was trawling the site one night saw his profile and for once I messaged him first, 6 years later still together so there are some decent ones on OLD

Work. He was a journalist reporting on the goings on at the school I was working at.

He was very impressed by my performance on the 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' machine.

On a blind date 27 years ago 😍

At his first wedding! I was good friends with his ex but stayed in touch with him when they split.

Tinder, and getting married this autumn

Went on my own on holiday to Kos met my DH on his last day of his holiday married 13 years and moving to Crete in 3 months time to live x
