Unplanned second pregnancy, don't know how or if to tell Dp.

Names changed as a few people in real life know my user name.

We have one Dc who's only 5 months. I'm ebf and not had a period yet and I've found out today I'm pregnant. I'm devastated, really not ready for another baby and I can't believe it, we've been using condoms every time we've had sex and with a tiny baby it's not like it's been often.

I've told Dp I'm not feeling too well so I'm hiding upstairs. I'm really not sure how he'll take it and I'm not sure what I even want to do, so don't know if I should say anything yet.
We've discussed having another in a very general way and he didn't seem overly bothered for another really and neither was I. Honestly I imagined us probably only having one, maybe two but definitely not this close.

I don't even know why I'm posting. I guess just because I can't talk to anyone in real life and I'm just trying to think things through and stop myself from crying.

I fell pregnant with dc2 when dc1 was 10 weeks. He was born 2 weeks before her first birthday. Then dc3 was born the day before dc2s first birthday. The first couple of years are hard work with multiples in nappies, but it really does get easier

Oh wow @YouCantBeSadHoldingACupcake. You definitely had your hands full!

We told Dp's mum and dad today (Dp's idea as he thought it's a lovely Mother's Day surprise for his mum). They were happy for us, if a little bit shocked. But more than happy to help out where possible so that's good, although I knew they would be. We won't be telling any one else now, until after the 12 week scan but it all feels very real. Dp was giving me a hug earlier and he said "oh just think, next Mother's Day we'll have two" I was a bit, eek Confused. But I'm starting to feel a bit excited too. I hope they are close growing up and I really hope this baby is as good as Ds, he's been a great feeder and sleeper, so fingers crossed his little brother or sister follows suit. Although most people say you don't get two the same, my mil says both her boys were good sleepers so I'm hoping it's genetic (most likely wishful thinking, but you've got to think positive, haven't you)

I think you might be right about the genetic thing, both of mine were useless sleepers but a friend had three perfect sleepers!! (Some other friends had one of each though).
Pleased you're feeling better about it, all the best to you all x
