He asked why I haven’t waxed my arsehole and said...

“Most women wouldn’t want that to be hairy”

Said almost in passing but I feel uncomfortable about it. Am I being too sensitive here?

OP posts:
KennyCalmIt · 03/03/2019 10:01

I think dumping him is a bit extreme

It probably wasn’t the best comment to make but I wouldn’t be offended by it. I get rid of the hair around that area which is why I probably wouldn’t be upset if DP asked me that question

He’s hardly a “piece of shit” though Confused

MaudeLynne · 03/03/2019 10:01

You should make more effort. I always wear heels to work. It's the perfect footwear choice for a farm. He's a knob.

Doglikeme · 03/03/2019 10:01

You will never feel fully comfortable with him knowing this. My ex used to mention if I was a bit prickly and so I'd literally shave minutes before going to his house for TWO YEARS, it was so bad for my body and mental heath. He'll grind you down, not worth it. There's plenty of non arsehole men out there, go for one of them.

limpbizkit · 03/03/2019 10:01

This has got red flags all over it. Even down to the classic 'he can be lovely though' he'll eat away at your self esteem until you feel hideously insecure (like him) and modify and change your body to suit his desires. Of course he's lovely sometimes. Got to keep you hooked. I'm not one to shout 'abuse' on these threads. It's used to often. But in your case I'm afraid I smell trouble here. Get away from him whilst you've still got your self worth

Namechangedbecauseiwantto · 03/03/2019 10:02

Another red flag, commenting on you not wearing heels. Tell him to fuck off!

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 03/03/2019 10:02

So what’s great about him? He’s rude, demeaning and not hot.

TatianaLarina · 03/03/2019 10:02

An overweight but hairless arsehole I presume.

DointItForTheKids · 03/03/2019 10:02

I'd say, "Oh, do you know I've been thinking about what you raised the other night about my hairy arsehole, I think you're right and it's so great that you said this because I now feel comfortable now with raising the very same thing with you. I find yours revoltingly hairy so I thought we could have a his 'n hers arsehole waxing party at the weekend".

Of course, you'd do him first (and never get round to doing your own!).

Be a shame if the wax went all over his bollocks in that process and you had to wax his nutsack too....

Namechangedbecauseiwantto · 03/03/2019 10:02

And ltb

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 03/03/2019 10:03

*He's said other things, most recently commenting on why I don't wear heels at work love every other woman.
*
So much wrong with this, for starters most women I know don't wear heels at work and I work in quite a big office. Secondly why the fuck does he care what shoes you wear to work? Do you work together? He should not be that invested in your work footwear. He seems to have an idea of a woman in his head, an unrealistic idea maybe? And I think I'd be off if I'm honest and I don't usually say that. I wouldn't want to be constantly measured against an imaginary woman.

JRMisOdious · 03/03/2019 10:03

“He can be lovely though”

Sorry, Michelle, but anyone who makes such negative personal comments is seriously not lovely.

DointItForTheKids · 03/03/2019 10:03

limp you are ON it today!!!!!!

DavetheCat2001 · 03/03/2019 10:03
Hmm
Purplecatshopaholic · 03/03/2019 10:04

Ugh! Just ugh! @AFistfulofDolores has it spot on!

EdWinchester · 03/03/2019 10:04

What a strange comment to make!

Mind you, I do get mine waxed - it’s all part of a hollywood wax. My dh would never suggest it though. No way.

ToomuchtimeonNetflix · 03/03/2019 10:05

So he wants you to wear high heels and wax your bumhole, he sounds
lovely OP.

YouBumder · 03/03/2019 10:05

"Because I didn't think you needed waxing."

This

What a complete and utter prick

PortiaCastis · 03/03/2019 10:06

When you're down on him let out a huge ooooooooo eeeewww mate you have crawlers yuk I'm outta here !

Fazackerley · 03/03/2019 10:07

Reading posts like this make me realise how fucking lucky I am

Quintella · 03/03/2019 10:09

Like a hero from a Georgette Heyer novel.

Dump his hairy arsehole. And tell him exactly why: that just because he's sensitive about his own physical failings it doesn't mean he has the right to attack your appearance.

LonelyandTiredandLow · 03/03/2019 10:10

A prime example of why I haven't been on a date in years. At some point men turn it into a competitive sport when they think they own their women. That guy's got a girl who can contort her body so she can put both toes in her mouth whilst doing a bridge...why can't you do that?Hmm I'd be willing to be OP's 'man' doesn't wax or considerately wash his bits before expecting sexual favours.

Mrskeats · 03/03/2019 10:10

He must watch a lot of porn.

HopeIsNotAStrategy · 03/03/2019 10:10

Revolting man. He doesn’t deserve you and you can do a lot better!

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 03/03/2019 10:11

I suspect the "most women" he has experienced are on pornhub.

Quintella · 03/03/2019 10:11

It probably wasn’t the best comment to make but I wouldn’t be offended by it. I get rid of the hair around that area which is why I probably wouldn’t be upset if DP asked me that question

And the relevance of this is?
