Glorious day here too. Absolutely bucketed down last pm! 2nd wash nearly ready to go out. Didnt go to swimming, i was up but ds2 zonked despite my efforts so let him lie. He hasnt had a long lie all hols unlike his brother!
Off to pick up guinea pig soon.
Need to unpack and put away not my fav part of hols😀 then a quick clean up i suppose after a week of neglect.

Nerd to be all done in time for temnus😀

Apparently our gp charmed the pants off the owners. Husband asked in jokey way if we really wanted him back 😀 they said he was the best gp they have ever had and have taken loads of photos and spent ages sitting with him listening to him chirp and chatter and watching his antics begging for food etc.😀

Unpacked, line full and more in wash machine to catch up with stuff we left behind! Need to go get some shopping but it will have to wait.

Going to see Sweet Charity this evening with someone from my WAY group and getting something to eat first. Should be good, someone else from my WAY group does backstage stuff and has been involved and says is a good show. Then C is coming over on his way back from visiting his daughter and we are spending tomorrow together.

Lazy morning then getting some housework done, ensuring the boys sort their rooms, washing etc. Going to go and clean out the inside of the car next. Then have downstairs to give a quick once over.

Enjoy the Muppets 84, someone else I know has gone today as well.

It is too bloomin' hot here! I have washed DS2's duvet - it's been in the garage since he came home from uni! 😂 Anyway, it's all clean & fresh now.

I am now making home made beefburgers for tea 🙂 and sort of watching the footy. Come on England!

Was waiting for mens to finish so I could get to the allotment to water.
Finally finished picking currants, just raspberries to continue with at home , but thats not a big or hard job

Chasing and 84 - hope the shows were good :)
Up early this morning - it is already too hot. Will zoom off soon, while its still bearable to get some things done at the plot that aren't watering .
Then tennis this afternoon.
Housework tomorrow ( honest ...) as we are swapping pick up of DGS to Tuesday this week, and its cooling down a little .

We had an amazing day yesterday. We arrived and there was a huge crowd and Wilf for very stressed so we approached a man in a hi viz jacket. He sent us to the front of the merchandise queue. We were then fasttracked through the security check. At the customer service desk we were given tickets nearer the front. They showed Wilf where he would have been and where we were actually going to sit so he understood. They also put a wristband on him with my name and number in case we got separated. Wilf had the best time!!

Didnt sleep till very early hours too hot. Sitting in bed with american pancakes with strawberries and maple syrup amd a cuupa courtesy of ds2😀 he woke up early and couldnt get back to sleep! Ds1 on pc till all hours so he is getting roped into jobs today to keep him off it.

Got a list of jobs to tackle today then tennis to watch.

Have hosp appoint tomorrow afternoon oh joy.

Roasting here already. Have hung washing out & waiting for next load to finish. Housework day (morning!) here; want to be finished in time to watch the tennis & footy. DH off out soon, so I can crack on! DS2 will be in bed but can sleep through anything, so the vacuum won't disturb him 🙂

DS1 & girlfriend back tomorrow, so will get their room ready too.

Phew i am roasted! Bathroom done bathmat washed.
Been cleaning out cup' under stairs for ages on account if all the hay on the floor and gp food! Its everywhere cos ds2 doesnt take care when taking it out its supposed to be in a bin bag to stop it going everywhere.
Hoover playing up and annoying me. Washing stuff as i go and generally tidying up. Am trying to be ruthless but did it recently and all the stuff in there we use! Found the water bottles with built in fans i was looking for to take on holiday 😠typical eh?

Stopped for a bite to eat and settle down for the tennis. left the mess still to put back for later Come on Novak😀

Ds1 finaly out of bed, have got him sorting out 2 baskets of clean washing😀

Have also washed kitchen wall where old cooker overhead grill was and filled in screw holes ready to paint. Am only painting that and along under units as i am sure they will rip my antiquated kitchen out. Just dont want them to complain about anything. Saying that they have been more talkative lately and watered all my plants whwn we were away and cleaned out the shared garage even my messy bit.

Better being 'friendly' while we are still here make life easier i suppose.

Am not watching the ⚽. My sister and her family came for lunch and they have just gone. I'm v tired today. A friend who lives near Wilf did the Race For Life with DP's name on her back today. Tomorrow we have to go to the funeral of a lady who's husband worked with my late father. My best friend is coming to sit with Bumble which after last night is probably good. He howled solidly for an hour and my neighbour was talking through the fireplace trying to comfort him!!

And it now transpires that all the neighbours heard Bumble howling... Apparently he sounded like

Oh bless Bumble - must be because he's now on his own

Busy day here, ready to go to bed, but of course it's too hot and too noisy.

Anyone recommend me a vaccum? Sick of this one. Seems tpo be making that 'blocked' phut noise all the time despite cleaning filters and checking everything. Just not picking up properly and fed up.
Nothing too expensive!

I have a Dyson that I've had for 7 or 8 years now....but very expensive.

PS no idea on the plant - i'm not a gardener!
