Just starting off before we hit 1000 on the last thread...

Survived the day😀
Been round Conwy castle and a big elizibethan house in town. Walked down to sea front. Ds1 has a bad eye very red. He went back to car after castle and lunch as couldnt syand it. Typical always bloody something on holiday.

Found a petrol station and google maps brought us back a single width road with high hedges either side for about 2 miles!!! More blind bends than le mons was bricking it!

Tea on then relaxing with wine.

Oh i love GDs too. I do love a big dog.

Enjoy the party MrsJ is it a kids party or adults? Shame about the beets.

What's DS1 done to his eye, has he got sunglasses? Might help with the glare.

Horse thats what o thought Horse meant to get a cheap pair on way back to car as of course he has left his at home And didnt pick up his bb cap as we left this morning😠😠 will have to get some tomorrow.

No idea if its allergy to something or hay fever. He is typically not helping...he has a spot just onside nostrils and when he used the hayfever spray gel it stung like crazy so wont use it again and eye spray not helping at all. Argh kids! Dont know why his hay fever seems so.bad this year he hasnt been bothered in years.

Sounds a lovely day willow, hope ds's eye clears up, can you get some drops?

C got off with Big Dog quite early and I headed over there for midday, we went out for lunch, mooched round an antiques place then wandered round the park. Then went back to his place and fell asleep on the sofa for a hour. Now home and waiting for ds2 to get home, ds1 on an Explorer activity weekend.

Kids party and the men all crowded round the telly ignoring the world (not mine I hasten to add - he was at home )

Cool boiled water with salt in it is a home made remedy for infection type things Willow otherwise if it's hayfever one a day tabs and eye drops should do the trick. This year has been bad!

Oh, and yes the boys know I am seeing C but I'm not intending on introducing them all for a while.

Mught try that MrsJ anything remotely helpful welcome. Its not so irritating this pm but will def get sunglasses tomorrow. He has tablets and eye spray but doesn't seem to be helping.

Well miracle of miracles ds1 asked if we could play board games tonight 😲 (there are a few in a cupboard) so spent last 2 hours playing 'Smartass'😀😀

Been looking for places to go too many to chose from want to do it all😀

Enjoying whatever you decided to do today Willow. Was talking to C yesterday about childhood holidays in Anglesey and he had family there and used to visit too.

Picking ds1 & 2 others up from Explorers activity weekend argue morning, about a 2 hour round trip. Then WAY group informal picnic meet at midday that I'll take ds2 to as I expect ds1 to be flaked on the sofa.

Then no Sunday roast at my parents as they are taking my uncle back up to Cheshire following his stay with them for a fortnight.

Yesterday went well - DD found a car, and it just needs finalising on Tuesday . I had a lovely time choosing material :)
I have just got in from the allotment. A bit gruelling as amongst other jobs I am picking blackcurrants - it takes ages . A lot still to go too .
We have everyone around for tea tonight, so a bit to do prepping up wise .

All this Welsh talk is making me homesick, might sort some leave & go across myself!!

We're off to Tenby way on the 20th - we love Wales.

We walked miles well feels like it from start to finish. Went down to beach to find kids couldnt really go in sea on account of all the bloody jellyfish! Walked to end of pier and back then into town for tea. Should have just gone up the railway round
Great Orme 😀 prob been cheaper. Got ds1 glasses and clip on ones for ds2 (which broke 30 mins later!) Spent time in amusements and stopping myself and kids buying harry potter stuff😀. All in all a bit of a non event.

God the Welsh love a roundabout!!! They are every half a mile!

Took.a wrong exir coming home and instead of telling me to just turn round at the next roundabout 1/4 mile away it took me another turn off and we went up and up and up another side road for miles of ear popping twists and came back down into the village yet another way! Nowhere even to stop and admire the view😐

I will never find my way about at this rate (apart from here on to the damm expressway 😁)

I meant google maps took me up a bloody mountain of course😀

Lol at the roundabouts Willow, I remember them well! 😁 That expressway is brill though, I remember when it used to take HOURS to get to Conwy along the old A55.

Well ticket booked so we will see!
His parents live in France and he drives down and stays with them for a week.
I'm going to fly down on the Thursday and drive back with him on the Sunday or Monday.
Ticket was only £22 so if it all goes pear shaped it doesn't matter.

Morning. Tried to post a picture over the weekend and it didn't work. Bumble had a playdate on Friday with his friend Hector who is a 🇵🇹 Podengo. Hector escaped into our thankfully amenable neighbours garden through a hawthorn hedge and a fence!!! 😂 😂
Mum and i watched the ⚽ on Saturday and then I watched the 🎾. Yesterday i did a reading in church and then some friends came round to taste my 🥕 cake!
One month today I will be in Rome!!!! 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁

Another sleepless night. Don't know why i cant get to sleep i was knackered and in bed by 11 but didnt sleep for about 2 hours. Ds1 the same his bed isnt comfy for him. Forgot to check my phone alarm so was woken at 7 then ds1s phone alarm was goung off downstairs so had to go turn it off😀 my old legs are aching i am walking like i am 101😁.

A lot cooler today thank goodness. Been to the allotment, done a load of washing and due out soon to pick up DGS . Back for a committee meeting tonight .
A very busy week due here, the calendar is a bit packed with all sorts of bits and bobs .

Not much cooler here, but overcast now which helps a bit.

One of my oldest and dearest friends came over this morning. His Dad and Wilfs were close friends. We surprised Wilf by Facetime and he was thrilled!!! Lots of squealing and I Love Yous!!
