Sports day done, cake and cupcakes done. Brain fried. horse I think it was you that asked - yes to parent races. I had to laugh as all these macho men got up and then the last person to join the line up in a saunter did a Usain Bolt and won it

Ouch for the nose84 and the painful shopping/arguments Willow I asked DD to tidy her room and got back and could see no difference

Went shopping with Mum this morning and got a lovely belt in the charity shop. This afternoon I sat in the garden with Mr B. Mum watched the ⚽!!
I was chatting to my friend in FB. He was highly amused that the roles were reversed! 😂 😂 😂
Have a whole day off tomorrow. Church in the morning and then Mum is off to her sisters for lunch so I will relax in the garden again....

Long day today - was at the allotment from early doors.
Zoomed home for lunch, then DH had an appointment in the afternoon, quite near DD2, so we popped in to see her afterwards .
Flopped tonight after a bath .

Busy day yesterday ended up working till 5! Home for quick change then off to see Jurassic World. Was a good ol romp😀 lots of references harking back to J Park and others in the franchise. Had mcD before we left (nowhere else open😐) and didn't get back till 11.30 and we all fell into bed.

Ds2 came through to see if i was awake and when i checked time it was 4.30!!! So sent back to bed. It was brilliant sunshine then which prob threw him.😀

Glorious day so no doubt busy day at work ahead. Am still aching from yesterday. 😀

Went to ⛪ this morning and then a friend popped over for coffee. Mum went out to lunch and I've made lasagne and 🍋 Meringue Pie! Sat down after lunch and watched some of my dvd of Jane Eyre with Toby Stephens.
Now laying in the garden with Bumbledog listening to Radio 2...

Lemon meringue pie is one of my favourites 84.

I really enjoyed Jussasic World too willow. Made me smile your ds coming in at 4.30am. Was getting light here at that time as well.

Must be too hot for the allotment book? Early evening watering.

Boys at camp on the scout field from 10am yesterday and at their dad's from finish today and due home soon.

Chris cake over yesterday, woth flowers and food - and cooked for me! Very nice steak, new potatoes and asparagus. After the chocolate fudge cake he brought a couple of weeks ago I've told him he can come again!
We tool Charlie out to a local pond for a swim and picked up some raspberries and ice cream.
We planned to go to Ely aquafest today but didn't get up till late and it was so hot, so we just went to a local farm shop for lunch then chilled out this afternoon.

My vacuum packed up yesterday so I ordered another one from Argos click and collect - and despite confirmation when we popped to pick it up on the way back from lunch it hadn't been ordered and they had none in stock. Very annoying.

Thanks, I was quite pleased with the cake. He's been much better today. Sugar overload and excitement has a lot to answer for. Also MIL changed her plans so he was upset with that.

I've had a fab weekend, shame I have to go back to work tomorrow!!! 😂😂 Got a bit sunburnt, which is annoying as I'm always lecturing my DC about wearing sunscreen... 🙄 It's not painful luckily, just looks a bit red.

I am just about to eat some Banoffee Pie, but could just eat a slice of lemon meringue - love anything lemony for dessert.

Have lifted some tulip bulbs out pots to dry out and means less heavy pots to move😀 hope they will be ok will bag them up tomorrow.

Have been working on the allotment, and yes much too hot, but fruit and veg need picking, and it all needs a lot of watering. So I went yesterday morning, then hid inside for the rest of the day . Sewing, doing bits and pieces, making chocolate courgette brownies and generally feeling a bit washed out with the heat. I think I have mentioned before, I really don't like the heat! ( party pooper me )
So today, I need to go and water again, and pick raspberries .Have a couple of loads of washing to hang out .
DGS to pick up this afternoon and make tea , then flop .
Trying to finish off some bits of crochet so they are out of the way, but its too hot for wool on the lap!

Well you lot have been busy! I've been doing very little really as I did most cleaning stuff yesterday afternoon.

book I'm not too keen on the humid heat here...used to much higher temps, but a dry heat. Hope you survive all those chores. I'm starting my next colour for my blanket, but little 6"ers aren't too bad.

Hope work isn't too rubbish horse and that the pink has gone down always the way...

Willow it can be really difficult to see your GP can't it? I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment and then they rung me 2 days later to move it back another week. Hope the boys are pulling their weight.

Argh Squirrel vacuum trouble hope you've got the new one now. Glad you and C are having a lovely time together.

Just got the car back so going off for some shopping and tea at Morrisons. (have a £5 voucher so will get the essensials there )
Guy who dropped it off didnt know if there was anything of note so will phone in morning, if there had I am sure I would have heard as our mech is very good at telling you stuff/price before he does anything major.

Been packing up stuff in my bedroom, photo albums, old books etc. Have stuff for charity shop too. Found my old pc games and tried one and it works....lost a bit of time there

Hope you get the vacuum sorted out Squirrels mine had blocked after ds1 used it today and a tiny scrap of filter mesh is gone, sucks like a crazy thing but blocks quickly, need to hunt out some mesh. Mind you makes a change from permanently working brilliantly for 2 days then being 'blocked' as main filter gets dirty after 2 uses! Drives me mad.

All this talk of cakes/pie hmmm wonder if morrisons have lemon meringue pie? Ds2 got a piece when out for lunch the other day but he didnt like the lemony bit so I scoffed it at home it was lovely, soft and wobbly, home made not that solid stuff the commercial ones are like.

Busy days all round. Sounds like everyone is well.
Work here, finished at 2.30 as will be working till 4 for the rest of the week including Friday as taking ds1 to work experience on my way. Just been chilling since.

I'm feeling really foggy today so trying to take it at a slow pace at least as I'm not working. Walked children to school, got washing in the machine and sorting some bits and pieces of paperwork now. Dentist later and then need to go do a few chores in town.

Too hot for me, melting here , but have been to the market to shop, done ironing, then watering and harvesting at the allotment today. Popped in to see one of my old customers to talk about sewing and sewing machines ( was picking her brains) so had a nice hour there.

Up early as had to get appiint for ds1 as ge announced last night his toe is still sore! Salt bathing scrubbing with toothbrush and dressing px!

Been digging out more bulbs to empty a big trough. Glorious day very hot already. Off to hosp in an hour Planning on dragging kids wirh me to get them off devices 😀 wish me luck with that.
