MrsJonesAndMe · 12/06/2018 06:24

Hello

Ah that sounds lovely horse Glad you had good weather - you can never predict it. Hope you've recovered now though Wink

Yes thanks, had a good day on balance Squirrel Smile
Glad Charlie behaved and that you had a nice meal, albeit sad circumstances. Glad you and Mr OLD are having a good time.

Ouch Willow that does sound way too much! Why on earth would you put yourself through that again???

Hope your friend is better soon 84 so your hair gets done. Enjoy the meal today.

Another busy-ish day here, but meeting a friend for a coffee and walk as part of that. Then need to do some admin too. Never stops, does it?

Have a good one all!

Chasingsquirrels · 12/06/2018 07:00

Nope doesn't stop cake - enjoy!

Ds2's alarm is going off (he is at his dads) and I can't be bothered moving!

Got a couple of meetings locally today but then probably have to go into work as something has come up - annoying as I wasn't going to.

Then need to take ds1 to get the passport picture sorted and joggers.

Oh and now ds1's alarm has started, but at least that's just music not beeping.

Good days all

Morning all.
Still stiff as a tacket this morning.😀
Nicer day today sun out and blue skies between clouds fingers crossed it stays.
Going to give ds's windowsill another coat of paint. My room might need some too but not looking for my usual perfection😉

Hope you don't have to at work long Squirrels.

Enjoy walk and coffee MrsJ

Ds1 is off school today (damm forgot to phone! ) His toe sort of 'burst' open last night and bled/leaked gunk! and its very painful and bruised and he is hobbling around like an old man😀but hopefully pressure has been relieved a bit. He only has 2 'spare' classes today so not missing any of his actual subjects.

bookbook · 12/06/2018 10:52

Morning all!
Rather grey, breezy and a bit cool here - but blowing washing load #1 nicely!
Willow - some heat on that neck - do you have a wheat bag or something similar? ouchy for DS's toe - wonder if his nail will come off? ( mine did when I dropped a stone bird bath on my toe, many years ago )
Chasing - nothing worse than having someone else's alarm wake you up!
I finished my blanket construction last night, so was a bit occupied , but a lovely afternoon with DGS after pick up - he was on sparkling form :)
84 - enjoy your lunch, and boo to not getting your hair done, even though she can't help it.
MrsJ - admin its true, it never goes away . Enjoy the walk, and the meet up.
I'm just finishing off a coffee, had a lovely potter first thing sorting out things in the greenhouse/ watering pots and baskets, feeding the birds. We will be off shortly to the market to top up on stuff and go to the library. This afternoon away to the allotment for an hour.
Have a lovely day everyone

Willow2017 · 12/06/2018 12:01

84CharingCrossRoad · 12/06/2018 19:33

Wilf lost/had his phone stolen today. Lunch was lovely. Lots of police and firemen about. A newsagents near the hotel went up in flames. My friend's bookshop is adjacent and she has had some water and smoke damage. here

MrsJonesAndMe · 12/06/2018 20:06

Hello all

Hope you feel better now Willow

Yikes 84 never a dull moment!

I'm on square 4 now book for Snugs and then going back to my own blanket for a bit. How many have you constructed recently???? Seems like loads! Car any closer to being sorted?

I never get to hear an alarm as DS wakes up an hour before it's set Shock

Off to hook a bit more yarn. Sleep well all of you x

84CharingCrossRoad · 12/06/2018 20:15

Fire was last night. Didn't say that. My friend was at her sons 20th birthday and had to leave!!

Willow2017 · 12/06/2018 20:18

Evening all.
Work was quieter than usual so actually finished few minutes early! Back still complaining😀 Of course found out that boss is off ill and person who deals with rotas on hols so didnt say anything about sunday. Typical eh?

What a shame about Wilf 84 strangely a relative of mine got mugged on sat lost his phone and money and beat up face to boot.
So much for a quiet lunch! Pretty dramatic!

Good job ds1 stayed off school as had to dress his toe twice before i left for work. At least all the gunk is coming out (his feet have never been so clean😂😂)

Willow2017 · 12/06/2018 20:18

Oops xposted 84.

bookbook · 12/06/2018 23:00

Evening !
Just popping in to say goodnight
84 - worst thing, losing a phone - hope its one that you can lock so it can't be used .
Willow an almost easy day for you :)
MrsJ - you are going some! - I'm on my #9 for my snugs, but I do seem to have done a few constructions ! Just waiting for garage to call about the car , don't want to pester them , no point , they are good at letting us know when it's done .
Away to bed now - sleep tight everyone

Chasingsquirrels · 13/06/2018 08:12

Too busy at work - it's normally only January I feel like this, but it hasn't really stopped since last October/November. Think I really need to up my hours.

Then busy after work running the kids about and bridge tonight - but my partner is away so not sure who I'll be playing with.

Has anyone heard from @SelenaValentine? Really hope she is okay.
And that Juan is getting on okay in her new job.

MrsJonesAndMe · 13/06/2018 13:07

No news from selena Sad I hope she's ok too.

Busy here. Just having some lunch while ordering school uniform and checking here.

Good luck for tonight squirrel

Hope everyone OK x

Willow2017 · 13/06/2018 13:33

I am going round the twist😀 stupif oc updated itself and i got a lot of ibfo re holiday from owner i want to print up but its not sending it to printer! It says its got things to print but nothing happening. Arghhhh.
Switched ofg pc and on again now its 'working on updates' again!!! That will be it for another bloody hour. I hate freaking windows. Ds1 is linked to my account and i get a blooming alert when he goes on at school as someone logging into my account 40 miles away! Same blooming email address as his log in but nope they have to alert me!

Ran away for coffee this morning and have been stuck on pc for ever doing stuff and getting nowhere.
Looking for packing boxes amongst other things, what fun!

Good luck for tonight Squirrels sure you will do fine with another partner.

Hope Selena is ok too.

84CharingCrossRoad · 13/06/2018 15:52

Now about to go and collect Tylerdog from the vets. He's had three teeth removed... Takes two of us to hoik him in and out of the car!! Wilfs phone hasn't turned up.
We had the Women's Cycle Tour through the village this lunchtime so we took all the children into the high street to watch. I was a sudo traffic stopper for one of the classes with one of the Mum's. I stepped out in my fluorescent bib as a white van man came down the road. I had serious doubts about whether he would stop but he did. His passenger thoughtfully leant out of the window and yelled "Alright darlin, we were miles away!!!"
There were about 15 police motorbikes through first, some from Liverpool. Horns and sirens blaring whipping up the children into a frenzy. Then after the cyclists theee were loads of cars with bikes on top and then two ambulances from Bristol. (I'm in Suffolk to put things into perspective!)

Chasingsquirrels · 13/06/2018 21:56

I came home from collecting ds2 from rollerskating to find Charlie standing in the kitchen like that!
Having knocked over the vase full of roses (from OLD guy the weekend before last, so nearly past their best) off the coffee table and there was water and flowers everywhere.

Evening all
aw Charlie - it looks positively romantic Chasing Grin - hope the bridge went well .
Willow - me and technology don't mix - I just cross my fingers and hope problems go away .
84 - that sounds exciting - we had the Tour De Yorkshire through here - it brought everything to a standstill for ages, and they whizzed past in a flash
MrsJ - hope all is well
Yes, I have been thinking of Selena too
Just been doing the usual today - allotment/washing/ironing /crochet .
Fingers crossed - we get the car back tomorrow ....
Night all

Horsemad · 13/06/2018 23:58

Oh Chasing, what a fab photo - there's next year's Valentine's card, right there!!! You need to sell that image to Hallmark! 😁

I've had a day off today, so haircut & into town shopping.

Willow, you seem to have never ending problems with your pc 🙁 hope you managed to get it sorted.

book, fingers crossed for your car tomorrow!

Willow2017 · 14/06/2018 05:03

Hi all.
Spent last pm watching tv with hot water bottles up my back/neck feeling like my back muscles were being scrunched together down my spine and bloody pain under my jaw!
Woke up at 4 with severe pain under my jawline like someone pushing their fingers up under it and gripping my throat! Shoulders and elbows felt like they had been hit with baseball bats! Spine 'tingling' away like crazy, crying with the pain till painkillers kicked in. So sick of all this. Need to see gp today and tell work I cant go in I suspect it wont help the problem one bit Grin I am sure they wont be impressed.

What sounded like hard work but feasable, a people orientated job has made things 10 times worse! I only wanted to get out the house and mix with other adults for a change and provide for my kids but nothing is that simple in my useless life. I keep going, to prove I am not a quitter to my kids but the pain is winning this time, I cant keep doing this.

On the bright side have someone coming friday to fix my pc Grin

Lovely photo Squirrels what a monkey he is Grin

Chasingsquirrels · 14/06/2018 06:33

Oh willow just hugs, as there is nothing else I can do - I so wish there was.
Definitely get yourself to the GP as soon as you can x

OP posts:
MrsJonesAndMe · 14/06/2018 06:43

Aaaaw Willow that sounds incredibly painful. I hope you got a bit more sleep. You must feel very down (((hugs)))

Restless night here Sad off to GP with DS for stronger hayfever stuff and work and clubs for both children.

super cute naughty Charlie!

Willow2017 · 14/06/2018 10:44

Thanks ladies.
Saw a gp (not exactly good bedside manner never seen her before) got painkillers and told no work today and go back to my 8hrs on sunday. Phoned work and told them luckily wasnt boss i spoke to😉 so no problem.
Also got appoint for ds1 as toe not improving and this morning quite red and really sore. So he is on antibiotics now😐

Wild windy day, branches off trees on road etc.

Might kake use of ds1 and actually get something done today😉

Willow2017 · 14/06/2018 10:46

Argh damm phone!
Hope ds gets better meds MrsJ sometimes i think ds2 needs something better. Will keep an eye this week.

bookbook · 14/06/2018 11:04

Morning
Willow - poor you and DS - you are in the wars, so please take it steady and let your body recover a bit.
MrsJ - oof, no respite on broken nights I see , so you also take it steady
nice to see you Horse - hoping the new boss has finally settled down , and not too stressful for you.
well, I was up early too -but lolled around downstairs rather than be restless in bed and wake DH. Very windy here too , and grey , but not cold.
Have made some soup , done some crochet, sorted out some stuff to sew this afternoon, tidied up. Depends on when the car is ready but may go to the shops if its earlier in the afternoon , if not will go and do a good sort out in my spare bedroom - its a bit of a dumping ground at the moment , just things that need to be put away properly really, but messy . Will give me a chance to give it a good air and a clean too. Not sure why everything gets so dusty !
Hope the day goes well for everyone
