Have to say that it's been very cold but mostly bright sun here. Few snow flurries but that's it, so far at least. Freezing easterly wind - so bad, I wore my fleece hat (I hate hats, remind me of school).
Oh willow, you'd think people would have more sense - perhaps trying to keep warm? Clearly can't take the hint.

Expect Charlie will eventually settle (or else chew it to uselessness!), squirrels.

Horse, clubhouse - what a luxury. I too have stood and frozen or been blown away.

DIL's (well, not legally, oh I wish they'd get their act together) father came and kindly put TV on a cantilever bracket so it now folds out and then back flat to wall. Needless to say, the TV was wrong at the back somehow, so lots of modifications needed - nothing is ever straightforward in this house somehow. Anyway, now have bit more space and just need to find a unit to hold the dvd etc whilst hiding the myriad of cables. One is really long, hanging out the wall, not connected but 'cannot be chapped off'. 
I've not put him totally off as he's going to put an outside tap on the back wall (so I can hose down the new patio, they all seem to think 
!).
