Late finishing again. Am knackered 😁 Sign on door says opening hours dont rock up 2 mins to closing expecting meals for 5 then be surprised when we say no!

Had a very productive day, but aiming to put myself to bed as soon as the children have gone. So bone achingly tired today. DH had a nightmare and a dog was barking around 6am

Not at work today, had a lazy morning catching up with a few bits, walked Charlie and have just mopped the floors.
Taking ds1 to coach pick up for scouts district camp shortly and a friend is dropping ds2 back from his after school club as it finishes at the same time.
Then something to eat for ds2 and off to judo for the evening. His stepmum will be picking him up and I'm out for a meal with a couple of WAY-ers.

No plans for the weekend although I might see if my mum fancies going shopping tomorrow, I could do with some new stuff but can't really be bothered!
Oh dog walk with a friend in the morning, I'd forgotten that.
Ds2 will be back home tomorrow evening but ds1 not until 4pm Sunday so will find something to do with ds2 or just relax at home.

weary here - had a heavy duty allotment day, all morning, most of the afternoon.
84 - - total relaxed, letting everything hang out!

Washing and general pottering this am. Picked up ds2 and we did shopping, went to bank etc. Tea on. Am officially done with cm. Asked client for confirmation that they dont need me regularly now and i cant afford to do occaisional ad hoc. Need to cancel all my reg/insurance/scma things and do accounts for last year😀😀😁

Mums off tomorrow in holiday. I'm off to a wedding. Last time I was there I was at another wedding with Alan..... Have booked tomorrow night off work. When the brides brother got married they had their reception in the village hall where the reception is tomorrow. I had to shuttle back and forward to work between courses....

Morning all.
Now there's a surprise not.
Came back from swimming to find letter from letting agents. We are being kicked out. Out by begining of August. All this time them outside working away and didnt have the decency to say anything.
No warning at all. Will be digging up the rest of my plants in my little border😀 sod em.
Need to get onto housing on monday and get selling all my cm stuff somehow. Absolutely furious...after all this time😠

How and when do i tell the kids?

Apparently its a change in personal circumstances and no reflection on my tenancy.

Not a lot Horse and all much more expensive even for grotty ex council houses. Will look on ha site later. But need to get rid of a lot of stuff first! It wouldn't fit in😀😀

Oh Willow, what a monumental pain in the arse, particularly for your circumstances 're the house. I was very cross about the plants and now am sad on your behalf. Hugs.
I'd probably wait a few days to tell the boys, not least to let your own feelings have some time to settle, but also to give you time to look into options and have something positive to tell them.

I am halfway between wanting to cry and scream in anger😀 am taking it out on cleaning😀 discovered that only the lo.o.ng trailing bits of my lovely winowsill plant are alive so have taken lots of cuttings to plant later. Need to get more compost to put my tulip bulbs in too.

Oh well onwards and upwards.

As an aside, if the tulips foliage is pretty much died down you could just store the bulbs in a brown paper bag until the autumn and repot/plant them then.

Thanks Squirrels but they are only just flowering or going over here. Will replant so bulb can recover a bit. I have couple of pots left from culling the hostas😁

Afternoon all
Just a quick sit down with coffee before up and out again . Its just starting to look like rain is coming - but hopefully not until we have finished sorting outside. I have planted up my hanging basket , and the baskets and tubs for the DD's too, so they should at least get a good soak ..! Just need to finish sorting out repotting a big chrysanthemum first though .
oh Willow - that is just horrible. Just as a thought, though not much help - have you been there long and have a rolling tenancy - because I suspect they are not giving you enough time - I thought it was 6 months. However, yep, start hassling the HA and council - you will need housing pronto. big big ((hugs)) . I would like to come up there and thwack them ...

MrsJ - you never seem to get any undisturbed sleep - you must be on your knees. Hope you have a peaceful, and restful day .
I agree with Chasing - let yourself be calm, and find out what the situation is re being rehoused before telling the boys. It will help if you can give them some details.

Well typically there is a house on the housing assoc books and the closing date is 15th! But I cant get on to register interest cos I havent used the thing in so long I cant remember the password and the 'Catcha' thing isnt working to verify I am a human so have had to email them to sort it out pdq! Guess I can say goodbye to that one, its actually a decent size house too. (Wish they would pictures of inside and garden up but they dont) Fingers crossed.

Letting agents have an ex council 2 bedroom house but the garden is appalling, decking/concrete with tiny overgrown bit at bottom. Really want a 3 bed so kids can have seperate rooms so ds2 can go to sleep without ds1 on pc or going into my bed for peace!

Done windowsil, and drawers in c.u. stairs! And sorted out my cm stuff to go up in attic. Cancelled all my registrations and insurance etc. Still need to face the accounts! NO chance MrsJ I hate doing mine. Shouldnt be too difficult for past year though, not much to put in them!

Book have a rolling tennancy. I suppose I can console myself that if I dont find anywhere it will take them time to get a court order etc to get rid of me Not that I want that but would serve them right.

Have re-emailed HA to register interest explaining that I cant do it on the website. FIngers crossed. Not my ideal place to live but they are fairly new houses in the grand scheme of things so better than a tent

Morning all. Yesterday went okay. Saw lots of friends including some I had not seen for many years... We facetimed with Wilf so he could see the bride and groom.

Glad it went well 84 and nice to FaceTime with Wilf.

I didn't go shopping in the end, nice dog walk with friend then walked up to see ds2 as the scouts were helping in the village orchard.
Home and a headache came on so took some paracetomal and had some quiet time as it was threatening a migraine.
Ds2 home in the evening and we watched the Neverland film about the author of Peter Pan, I was in tears by the end. Good film though.
Also managed a lowish-calorie day as well, I'd eaten far too much on Friday and am going to meet someone off OLD on Monday so won't be low cal-ing then. Will do another one on Tuesday.
