Will ask them about the bush tomorrow if I see them. Dont know why they cut it down at all.
Been having a moan on phone to my aunt and she had a moan about stuff too so we have put the world to rights Grin

Just have to make the best of a bad job. I will get on with looking for somewhere else although not much around here at all.

Hope everyone else has had a better day Smile

MrsJonesAndMe · 05/05/2018 08:18

Morning! Sun out. Have a good one.

Willow2017 · 05/05/2018 08:43

Morning.
Cloudy here.
Going for more compost and take stuff to skip. Worried all my remaining plants will be uprooted before i get back! Think i need another planter as wont fit all the tulip bulbs etc in one i have left and i have a red hot poker plant still to dig up.

Hope you all have a sunny relaxing Saturday.

bookbook · 05/05/2018 09:03

Morning all
lovely sunny morning here.
We are off out to the big market - bacon, nice cheese and bread to buy, along with some plants for my hanging basket from the plant nursery man .
Then popping to see friends who have just moved house .
So a very relaxed day :)
Need to go and get a shower, and try and decide what to wear - its nice ,but not that warm!
Willow - definitely deserve a ( hug) today
Enjoy the day everyone

Still cross for you Willow, hope the plants transplant well into the planters and flourish.

Sounds like a nice day book.

I totally wasted the day yesterday, but I guess that's okay.

Ds1 and exchange partner went to after school badminton and ds2 went to war games club.
Out to judo for ds2 and into Cambridge for bowling and a burger for ds1 & exchange.
Then we played some Uno and Perudo before bed.

Ds2 off to scouts shortly and ds1, exchange & I taking Charlie for a walk then I'm dropping them all to their dad's for the afternoon and night.

We are off to the beach tomorrow, although maybe everyone will have that idea with the weather. Then local fair on Monday, it's is a tiny village but has been going for 900+ years and is a big event in the area.

Weather looks lovely, hope everyone has a good weekend.

Selena hope you had a good holiday and are okay - no need to reply, just thinking of you x

Willow2017 · 05/05/2018 10:51

Well town was a disaster😀 obviously a parade on today (working horses and old carts etc by what we could see) tried every car park in town to no avail (not the only ones lots of cars going round in circles 😀) pity as we like a parade and love horses.

So back to garden centre for cuppa and bacon roll. Then off home to fill new pots😀

Sounds like a good day Book and a busy one for you Squirrels.

Chasingsquirrels · 05/05/2018 14:09

Shame you couldn't find a space to park and get to the parade Willow.

Exchange partner didn't get up till 11.30am, so we didnt get to do the dog walk. He said he'd just been so tired. Ds1 said they'd gone to bed quite early when he stayed there.

Called a friend on the way home from dropping them withheld and she invited me over for a bbq this evening so that's good.

Just had lunch and chilling in the garden now, might mow the grass as ds1 said the petrol mower was playing up on Thursday afternoon and he couldn't do it. I can't even start it so will have to use the rubbish electric one.

Have a growing list of house and garden things I want to tackle (or pay someone to tackle for me), might even get some of them done this year!

MrsJonesAndMe · 05/05/2018 15:31

Hello, we're home from a very busy Star Wars day...now chilling with the movie (1st old one)

Willow I hope you're OK. They've really shot themselves in the foot because no tenant will want a house where the garden has been taken over by the LL next door.

Squirrel that sounds like a good day and good to get a list of stuff to do. I have a list as long as my arm, but not time, energy or money really sigh

Hmmmm bacon and cheese and bread Smile Hope the market was good, book

Willow2017 · 05/05/2018 15:36

Nearly done destroying my garden😐 just noticed a couple of tulips left and a hiacynth. Might attack my old pots too as my hostas are full of grass and one has a lovely big dandelion in the middle. Might try and break them up and re pot ( if i can get them out first😁)
Good luck with the mower Squirrels and have a great time at bbq.

Willow2017 · 05/05/2018 15:41

Cross posted Mrsj😀
Feeling crap really but like every thing else will survive it😐

Ha ha i have a list of things too but never get round to them.

Had a look online last night and nothing much to rent round here and all much more than i am paying just now even old badly designed 2 bed council houses in dodgy schemes😁 looks like i am stuck for now. Hmm got a lottery ticket this week must check it 😉

84CharingCrossRoad · 05/05/2018 17:27

Going out for a family meal tonight. Not looking forward to it. Hate that I have to go alone. Also have a family lunch tomorrow.... Sad

Chasingsquirrels · 05/05/2018 20:30

Hope it is easier than you are expecting 84 hug.

Just back from friends, took Charlie for a walk along the lode and he went in a few times for a swim then did some digging in their garden (luckily just some moss). As a result he was filthy and I've just had to give him a shower. Drying off now ...

Willow2017 · 05/05/2018 20:53

Hope its better than you thought 84

Just sat down. Sorting a ton of washing, tea cleared up, change put into bank bags, kitchen floor swept it needs a wash but i am done for the day.

Ds2 out on bike with pals.

Ds1 had a rant about ll earlier. I picked up boots dumped in living room and turned round and banged straight into ds2 and banged my nose on his shoulder bringing tears to my eyes. 10 mins later having a good old cry. Ds1 isnt good with emotions and patting my shoulder bless him while i cried about my bloody garden. Cue his rant and telling me they broke it and i have fixed it and not to cry because they were wrong and had no right to do it they were my plants not thiers. Bless him. So thats it done and dusted. I didnt clear what i left if they want it they can clear it.😜

Hope Charlie appreciated the shower Squirrels. Mine never did😁

Chasingsquirrels · 05/05/2018 21:04

Aww bless him willow
And no, he hated the shower.

MrsJonesAndMe · 05/05/2018 21:22

Sending some (((hugs))) for Willow and 84

My feet hurt so much! Hoping tomorrow might be a bit quieter.

84CharingCrossRoad · 06/05/2018 08:04

Dinner was OK. Went straight to bed when I got home. Then woke up to message Wilf. He was out last night. Didn't go out till 9.15pm and had booked his taxi home at 1.45am!!!
He lost his keys yesterday. Luckily they were in a taxi and were delivered back to him. The taxi firm treat him really well bless him. The best taxi story was this.
"Mumma I is at RSPCA"
"Good,have a good day"
"Mumma"
"Yes Wilf"
"My sandwiches is in my flat..."
"WILF!!!!!!"
"Good Morning Central Cars"
"Good Morning could you please collect my sons packed lunch and deliver to the RSPCA please!!!"
Blush
Wilfs support worker was waiting on the doorstep with it!!!

bookbook · 06/05/2018 08:44

Morning all!
Absolutely beautiful here :)
Glad the evening went well 84 - each time you manage that, it will be easier. - It much be nice to feel you can rely on companies to help Wilf -sounds like he has a good support network around him.
MrsJ - too much walking?
Willow - as MrsJ said - I wonder if your LLs realise they are shooting themselves in the foot - they obviously have no insight , or empathy for you . But I still feel cross , you don't have much choice in the matter
so that makes it worse . You say there isn't much to rent around you , is it possible to widen the search a bit. Would it be possible to get on the council list at all?
Chasing are there any dogs that really like getting bathed . The dog we had when I was small hated it, and used to go outside afterwards and roll around in the garden :) It was a good evening for a BBQ , so hope you enjoyed yourself.
We had a lovely day out ,friends house is absolutely lovely, stayed a long time chatting and wandering around her garden ( which is gorgeous!) .
Today, its garden and allotment day , need to get the suntan lotion slapped on, and the sunhat out :)
Have a lovely day everyone

Hope you arent too busy Book and you get a sit down to enjoy the sun. I am still on the HA list so will check that out too although having a place already doesnt put me in a good position.

Hope bbq was good Squirrels and weather held.

Mrsj you having a quiet day to let your feet recover? (I doubt it you never stop😀)

Need to go shower and get ready for work. And a quick tidy up first after spending all afternoon in garden yesterday not a lot else got done.

Have a good day all.

MrsJonesAndMe · 06/05/2018 16:50

Hello all, no not quieter at all here really! Baking, walk to park/library, lunch, washing, DD and I out into town heaving, but successful Tesco for bread and milk, gardening and prepping up bits for BBQ. Oh and I've managed to start another square in Pistachio for Care hug/snug hugs.

Sending hugs all round. Well done for getting through 84 and glad the taxi company look after Wilf. Good luck at work Willow

Hope you didn't get caught in the sun book I did yesterday, so cream on today!

Hope the village fair was lovely Squirrel

84CharingCrossRoad · 06/05/2018 20:43

Willow2017 · 06/05/2018 20:54

Evening all.
Am shattered 😁 busy all day late finishing. Roasted even with every window and door open!

Mrsj busy as usual. Send some of your energy this way.

Cuppa and settle down to Marvel with ds2. He went of to friends in small town couple of miles away on his bike. First time he has gone fo far on his own so had a few more grey hairs but he loved it and came back when supposed to so all good.

Hope you all enjoyed the sun

MrsJonesAndMe · 06/05/2018 21:30

Totally shattered - just leaving it half an hour till bed as I feel I should stay up a bit.

Glad DS2 didn't break your trust and he enjoyed it.

Meant to be even hotter tomorrow!

Chasingsquirrels · 06/05/2018 22:30

Fair is tomorrow cake, exH & partner (exH has ruptured his Achilles tendon and can't drive at the moment) dropped the boys back this morning and we went to Wells next the sea. Don't think I've ever been there without John, think I am missing him more than ever atm.
Lovely day, couple of hours crabbing, fish and chips on the quay then an ice cream and a walk down to the beach followed by 2p slots in the amusements.
All home via my parents for tea and to pick up Charlie, and the boys played rounders (ish) with him for an hour on the allotment.

Willow2017 · 06/05/2018 23:48

Squirrels we love the 2p amusements too.
Ds1 - money gone in 5 minutes
Me - money gone in 15 mins
Ds2 - money spent, won, spent, won for half an hour and poss leave with money left he is a lucky little devil😀
Hugs for you too.

MrsJonesAndMe · 07/05/2018 07:38
