Just caught up with everyone's news, brain fried sorry.

Just back from bridge club, think brain actually friend by 8.30pm as the last couple of hands I wasn't with it at all.
The bloke I was partnered with (who is the husband of a friend of a friend who I used to know slightly but haven't seen for years) touched me lightly on the arm at the end as I said something to him and he hadn't heard me. And I just sobbed all the way home - I want a hug so much, I want John to hold me. Ds2 will cuddle me forever but it's not the same.

Your post about Juan reminded me it's probably my turn to reply to get email cake, must find that and do so.

Glad the cat is okay horse even if your pocket is somewhat lighter.

Sounds like a cock up with the school think willow, and glad your friend has your back at work.

Shame Wilf didn't win 84, that model was great.

Dead hen this morning, was expecting it as shes been going over the last couple of days. Hopefully the others are okay, our very old one was wobbly last week but totally perked up now.
Charlie had the runs all over the conservatory floor last night so that was fun to come down to this morning.

Steam mop arrived on Monday, really impressed with it on the floor but not as impressed as I thought I would be with the attachments on the hand held bit - although the window cleaner squeegie is good (but heavy and my arm aches from doing 1/3 of the conservatory and the outside of the patio doors).

Thinking of you Squirrel

bookbook · 02/05/2018 22:48

ooh, not so bad Horse Hmm !
Chasing - so sorry that has brought out the loneliness. I wish I could help . Know that you are in my thoughts, and sending virtual hugs. I too liked the mop for the floor, but emptying the darn thing was a pain .. .

Thanks both, been crying off and on all evening. Bugger it.

Nothing to empty on mine book, just a water container to fill that then steams away.

Ds1's German coming tomorrow evening.

MrsJonesAndMe · 03/05/2018 06:32

I hope you got some sleep. There's just nothing we can do to make it better Sad

Willow2017 · 03/05/2018 06:32

Morning all.

Thinking of you Squirrels sending hugs.

We are up! Bag packed and ds2 having brekkie. I didnt sleep much even though went to bed early i just didnt fall asleep for hours. And the weirdest dreams when I did doze off then woke at 4! Am having a snooze when i get back😀 working early to let someone away, oh joy.

Hope the student is nice Squirels.

Sunny but blooming cold again.

Have a good day all.

Willow2017 · 03/05/2018 07:48

Omg i dont need this stress at this time in morning! Ds forgot he got a bloody form to take yestetday so i had to belt home amd find it and take it back. Got stuck behind a load of bloody tractors going back!
Made it just in time. Teachers luckily thought it funny. I think i will go back to bed and stay there for a month 😕
Bloody kids arghhhh

bookbook · 03/05/2018 08:33

Morning all!
Sunny and chilly here too
gosh what a stressful morning Willow , not surprised you want to go back to bed and pull the covers over your head!
Chasing - hope you are feeling a bit better today ,( though why should you in truth, it must be hard to keep it together ) . I suppose my mop is like that actually but it just feels wrong to leave it to steam away ! ) I forgot to say - sad news on poor hen , that won't have helped either.
We are off out for the day today - nothing special, but DH has to get an x ray taken, ( its a drop in service ) which means a trip to the big town- so we decided we may as well sort out other stuff while we are there , and have a nice lunch out.
Have a good day everyone - I hope it is sunny for you all

Chasingsquirrels · 03/05/2018 08:45

Argghh Willow.

Hope you have a nice day out book.
In truth the hen isn't a issue, I'm not sentimental about them.
I do empty the little water container if I haven't used it all by the time I've finished, but it's just a tip out and leave on the drained to dry.

Sunny day, have walked Charlie and getting of to work early for a change. Need to get some shopping on the way home then firm up plans for the exchange visitor.

MrsJonesAndMe · 03/05/2018 14:30

I never empty my steam container thingy!

Hope you have a good day out book even if Xrays don't sound that enticing.

Squirrel I hope the sun helps your mood a bit (((hugs)))

Willow just strangle the both of them and be done with it!!! Hope your shift goes well.

Catch up later, been good, but mad busy (again) here. Roll on the long weekend!

Chasingsquirrels · 04/05/2018 08:49

Exchange student collected yesterday evening, seems v nice. Home and had tea then played some Rummikub and Uno. He goes to school with ds1 today then we have things planned for the weekend.

Willow2017 · 04/05/2018 11:25

Morning all.
Slept very late was lovely 😁 work busy yesterday was glad to get home my back was complaining.

Going to town with ds2 to get shopping and coffee. Need boring stuff like laundry basket and a bucket for floor mop. (Wish i had receipt for basket i got recently as it split at handle)
Sun out and not so damm cold as yesterday.

Hope ds and student get on well Squirrels and he continues to be nice to have around.

Book hope xray went well and no problems found.

Willow2017 · 04/05/2018 12:10

Wow!
LLs are currently digging up my flower bed to put their raised bed frame down for thier veg! Just asked me what i want to keep...erm all of it! On verge of tears here. Some if those plants were my mums i saved. I didnt think they could do that but obviously i got the wrong end of the stick with what part of the garden they were sharing. Not just the bottom but all. If they dig up all my tulips they will ruin them! I have crocus bulbs in there too! Am off to buy pots to put stuff in.

Chasingsquirrels · 04/05/2018 12:49

Oh Willow that is crap, how long have you been there?

Willow2017 · 04/05/2018 13:23

Pm'd you Squirrels.

bookbook · 04/05/2018 13:55

Afternoon all
Willow Shock that is dreadful - I'm sure you didn't agree to that, did you. Have you a proper contract with them? I would get in touch with CAB to see what rights you have . I am so cross for you .
X ray went smooth as silk -it's a walk in one, we were in and out in 30 minutes . Won't know until DH speaks to doctor after another blood test though . We had a nice lunch out, and then did one of those boring shops picking up essentials we don't need to buy often, so the pantry is filled up again.
I had lots of chatting with DD's on fb , as we have all received invites to my nieces wedding , so we were arranging rooms etc last night, in between me trying to crochet squares - WH had a shout out for a few extras to finish off kits for Chernobyl, so put my name down for some.
Had a long go at the allotment this morning , planting out stuff. Going back this afternoon with DH to cover the fruit cage with new netting. Washing is out, and the sun is trying to break through.
Chasing - sounds as if its all going well with exchange student - it is always odd to have someone unfamiliar staying in your home , but sounds as if it will be enjoyable.
Hope everyone else is okay and MrsJ - you are not fretting over French instructions!

WTF Willow big (((hug))) they cannot just do that!

Busy day book Wink

Good luck with the student Squirrel

I'm OK, need to retry the music note, but haven't had time! Just finished off the square in the meantime to applique.

Catch you all later x

Willow2017 · 04/05/2018 16:32

Book & Mrsj they just did it no warning at all.

Came home to half my bed gone, some stuff dumped in boxes with soil other stuff - honeysuckle, montana gone. Crushed tulips etc. Spent a fortune on planters i could have done without. Going to have to pot everything up so they dont die! Big raised bed waist hight on one side and i suppose the wood thats left is for another one on my path/steps side. It just seemed like they couldnt be bothered to even say we are doing x on friday do you want to collect up the plants you want to keep. I had a plant in the corner that would have come out in summer now i dont know if its just been thrown or in the guddle of plants in boxes or just burried under raised bed. I am bloody cross after all this time we have got on they could do that.

Will be looking at properties for rent pdq.

84CharingCrossRoad · 04/05/2018 19:26

Just popping in to say hello. Very tired tonight so chilling out!

Willow2017 · 04/05/2018 20:00

Have repotted what i can. Need to get more compost tomorrow. Must confess i had a bit of a cry too. But its done now and i feel totally different towards lls now i thought they were very nice people they have been up till now . I suspect they dont think they are being unreasonable at all as we will all have access to garden but its just the way they went about it that p's me off. I no longer feel comfortable in my own home. I feel like an intruder.

Enjoy your chill out 84 i am on my 2nd glass of wine😁

bookbook · 04/05/2018 20:46

I am still cross for you Willow - have you the courage to speak to them? - you are out of pocket from their activities - I think you have every right to ask for recompense for the need to purchase pots and compost, and ruin precious plants

OP posts:
Willow2017 · 04/05/2018 21:09

I might mention it tomorrow Book
Some of the stuff i will just leave as too big for pots/cant afford more pots, but i want to wait till all my tulips are done before lifting them as they will just wilt. Think i have lost crocuses though.
I have a little bush with lovely orange flowers (think someone on here posted a similar but larger plant photo last year) which looks dead in winter but just starting to sprout new growth now. They chopped it down obviously to make it easy to dig up (only about 2 feet high anyway) to about 6 inches with 2 wisps of new growth! Have planted in hopes it will come away again. Sooooooooo cross.

That is outrageous Willow Angry I am livid on your behalf.
Would be interesting to see what the LL says, if you feel able to raise it with them.
