not quite sure were the time has gone :)
Willow nice that you could change shifts to go see DS , and well done DS2 - technology rocks!
Chasing - sometimes it just seems as if everything is about being a taxi for DC , no doubting.
I have finally got to the age where I positively don't go shopping . The stuff doesn't seem to be aimed at me . I now accidentally find things, and grab them when I can . I cannot be bothered to wade through stuff that I am not even vaguely interested in - sad eh?

well, I did a bit at the allotment this morning . Its raining now, so have made some banana loaves ( DD gave me 3 brown bananas yesterday - DGS will only eat yellow ones ) tidied up , DH vacuumed , and then my best friend rang and was on the phone an hour :) .
So I am a lady of leisure now . I am a bit miffed though - popped to the market this morning , gone oooh about 45 minutes, thats all , and came back to the red card on the doorstep. I think they sit around the corner and wait ...
Right - off to do a bit of sewing. DGS has put his knee through 2 pairs of
school trousers. I have mended them both once already, so I am now going to alter them into shorts.

I am not a huge fan of clothes shopping either these days. Mainly cos i wouldnt fit in the things i want to wear😀😀 and all that changing is a pia. But i need to see about new bras too.
Hoovered (washed filter so was a fight to do living room carpet!)
Made banana bread 'buns' to use up bananas before i had to throw them out.😀 Snap Book.
Washed my thick bath mat and brought it in an hour ago when sky went black it wasnt really dry and still no rain😠

Waiting for kids at school then tea and off about 6. Fingers crossed😉

Oh lordy. Got ds2's form for his trip...they now have to be at school for 7.25am😲 thats gonna be a fun morning and then work till 8pm😁

Nice afternoon today. Washing machine engineer came out and explained why our machine has been doing the fandango across the pantry.... Also explained lots of other washing machiney things. One of my best friends popped in for a cup of tea. Later after work I'm popping over to Wilf's Grandma for Facetiming. Last time we turned her into a werewolf!!!!

Well we managed to turn Grandma into a werewolf, a unicorn, a flying panda and a rabbit among other things. It's so lovely when they can both see each other. She was very tired when I arrived but soon perked up when she saw Wilf.
We moved in opposite her almost 20 years ago. Her husband died shortly after. She used to have W when it was raining so I didn't have to take him to the shop. Then a few years later he knocked on the door and asked her to be his Grandma. She treats him exactly the same as her other grand children and when he comes home for his visits all the support staff that come have to be vetted by Grandma!!!

I have had to multi task - otherwise I'd get nothing done! Unfortunately there's a new woolly hug to make. Going to see if I can try something new.

Well drama night was really good. 3 pieces all very different. Teenagers, old folks sitcom and gangland bitchfest with suicied! All very well done despite nerves of parents being there😀 ds1 was an old married hen pecked man, very funny. Wish he did stuff first time told in this house😀😀

Glad i didnt have work as my left wrist is killing me. I think sunday carrying all those plates and hours of washing up as fast as possible to keep up has aggrevated my old problems, i thought it would settle down but its getting worse. God i hope it settles down i cant afford not to work!

Still, it's my day off tomorrow, so hopefully that will change, although weather forecast not too good.

Havent slept mucg between stupid wrist waking me up and even stupider dreams!
Got my old cts splint out last pm but dont know if it will help or not. I am panicking about work tomorrow as i can hardly hold anything or turn a tap on never mind carry stuff. This is just typical of my contrary life one step forward 2 back😀

Willow - oh, that sounds so painful - did the bang on the elbow cause the problem or just exacerbate it ? Hope it settles down, poor you (hugs) - it's never ending the problems you have to cope with.
Went and picked up parcel this morning - some bits for DH nothing exciting! Then spent the rest of the morning at the allotment, digging and picking veg.
Keeping fingers crossed it doesn't rain , but if it does, I can get on with the WH squares I offered to make .

Afternoon.
Book its the other arm from the bruise😀 its still sore just did a pile of dishes i collected up ouch! I am sure it was work on sunday that dis it. Carrying piles of plates to get tables cleared much faster than usual and scrubbing dishes as fast as possible. Doesn't bode well😐

Fell asleep late morning so gave done nothing much at all. Woke up to ll mowing grass then had a heavy shower of rain. Still looking a bit iffy so washing not out yet.

We had hailstones today! Luckily it was later on this afternoon, so didn't spoil anything.

DH & I went out for lunch which was very nice. 🙂

Did a few chores round the house, took cat to vet - all ok but her teeth need a scale & polish 😸

Nice day at work, boys to rollerskating and I walked Charlie while they were there, then dripped ds1 at beavers, came home and washed kitchen, conservatory, utility and hall floors, ds1 home and had quick tea then out to bridge club. Having a good evening and suddenly hit by the grief bug and cried like a baby on the way home. #&%$.

Awww Squirrels sending hugs. It must be awful when it just hits you out of the blue.

Surviving here - thanks to carbs and sugar

Afternoon all.
Well day started off well enough but has gone downhill somewhat😐

Went for a coffee and croissant and get petrol.
Sunny but cool and heavy drizzle first thing. Got home and took my phone out bag to see txts and calls from ds2! I forgot to take it off silent after drama night! He was feeling sick but said he would try to carry on. Txt him to call after class finished for lunch. Then put washing out as bright sunshine and few fluffy clouds. Cue call from school to come get him. As i left in car black clouds chucking rain down😁 i give up! Ds white as a ghost and hot so tucked up in my bed with basin at the ready. Not propely sick yet just sort of reflux fingers crossed.
Still have to go to work later but ds1 home an hourish after i leave.
Always something in this house😀
