Hopefully had a good afternoon with dgs book.
So annoying when you have typed a post and lose it cake.
Weather not so nice as last week for your holiday Selena, but at least it is dry.
Willow the rocket thing for ds2 sounds like good fun, my ds1 did a similar thing with bridge making in the yr 7.
Good that you have managed to swap your shift for the drama. Sounds like you had a full on day yesterday, and it must feel like no progress with the doctors but it is all steps forward.
Hope work is okay for you horse and 84 is okay too.
Ds1 survived DofE weekend and seemed okay when I collected him.
I was mooching in town after dropping ds2 and watching the parade when ds1 texted to say they would be there early at 2.30pm so I scooted off to collect him only to arrive to another text saying they had taken a wrong turn and would be another 10 minutes. 20 minutes later I was just about to go back to pick up ds2 at 3pm when they arrived. Back to ds2 on time - but they had finished 10 minutes early and were all waiting outside and I had missed calls and texts from him!
So I only managed a short mooch but did get a couple of much needed bras!
I've never really been a shopper, but since John's illness and death I've retreated much more into myself and rarely go into town now (and Newmarket is hardly a metropolis!).
Home for ds1 to shower then over to my parents for Sunday roast and games.
Work yesterday and boys with their dad so a quiet late afternoon and evening with Charlie. Ds2's alarm just woke me at 7am, which is unusual as I'm usually awake by 6am atm although don't get up. So up and fed Charlie and the hens and now just having a cuddle with him on the sofa before I get ready for work.
Hope everyone has good days.
