I haven't done any washing today! Unusual for me. We went to Lego today and I've walked miles. Need a holiday from the children

I have had a great day - yes shovelling and veg picking , then home for a bacon buttie . Been sowing seeds in the greenhouse, and doing some heavy duty pruning in the garden ,so nicely tired - its hard sorting things out when the clocks go forward I find, to strike the right balance of food and rest .

Hate the clocks moving about - the boy has been awfully grumpy today with end of term exhaustion and now I should be trying to wind down, but am wide awake.

Gorgeous day, lovely walk, quite a few jobs done, nice Sunday dinner that I didn't have to cook and watched the documentary on BBC about 100years of the RAF.

Lovely sunny morning but frosty.
Planning on tackling the dreaded cupboard under the sink😲 Its full to bursting i am sure i don't need all that stuff but will see.
Am dreading tomorrow's hosp appoint, i have to drink 1.2 litres of fluid before the scan!!! Are they having a laugh? Fill your bladder to brim then we will press all around it!!

I have done the c.u.sink. turns out there wasnt a lot to bin after all but i dont need to buy spray cleaner or wash up liquid for months😀 Moved on to 'that' drawer and cleaned it out. Threw out a load of old lippy like some reckless person😀 then did....my handbag. If that lot doesn't deserve a sainthood i dont know what does😁 having a sit down and a daime bar (which i found hidden!)

Funnily enough, Horse, in the dark ages of my youth, putting an apostrophe after a proper noun in the plural was a thing.

Home safely after a totally brilliant weekend. Beautiful weather, easy drives of over 3 hours both ways - which makes a change on the M60/62, A1! DIL and I lolled about in the Aqua Sana this morning. I'm presuming water jets aimed at strategic floppy fat bits is classed as exercise? If so, I worked hard. Got home, greeted the cats, unpacked, washer on, sorted mail.

Now back to my new normal of just me. Patio nearly finished and looks great so far.

We have been out for the day, then came home and had quite a good walk delivering newsletters for my committee .
Just sat about to crochet with an easy night.
Have DGS tomorrow, so need to be on my toes :)

Everyone has been busy!

I'm okay, been staining then making the hen house over the weekend. Just added the roof hinges from the old one to it so that I can open the roof for easy cleaning. Need to add some fixings to lock it shut so that it doesn't blow up and break like the old one did.

Dog walk with the kids and friend Saturday morning, put for tea with the boys Saturday early evening as their dad was collecting them later on, so that was nice.

Love the des res for the hens! 😁 Looks very smart.

Love the new hen house they are very lucky hens😀 but all that staining no thanks its a horrible job.

Back to "auld clathes and parritch" Selena but refreshed after a lovely break.

Nobody would believe me Selena half the stuff i havent mentioned as too 'out there' but would be identifiable. You have no idea!

Havent done much pm, fed kids, got pile of dry washing to sort through. Bus money all sorted for kids for next 3 days. Money for dinner for ds2 tomorrow he is off to Edinburgh on school trip to parliament and museum (which isnt very cheap to eat in) so am at least organised.

Going for shower soon to be 'ready' for scan tomorrow in case they need to do internal scan. (Oh god i hope not...)

Brill hen house! Can you make one for my tortoise (if she's survived hibernation, fingers crossed).

I worked for 2 years in a large department store chain in Canada and was back in the UK when 'Are You Being Served' started. People scoffed as they thought it over the top, yet I could identify most of the characters and some of the 'plot' situations were similar - but it obviously wasn't the same store! Weird.

Glad to here that everyone is more or less OK. I've been flat out and got a parcel ready for Woolly hugs. Raining and it's DS's school trip to the forest school....

I might have known it wouldnt go to plan. Ladies NEVER try and drive for an hour with a full bladder😦 the vibration is something you never notice normally.. i was frantic by time i was 3/4 of way here in such discomfort. Of course trailed round all the car parks and only space was half a mile from door😀 first place i went was the loo i nearly didnt make it😀😀 everyone very understanding and have had a jug of water and will be seen later. Phew. Next time i will get here an hour earlier and just sit in the cafe 😀😀 i didnt bring my book out car either as thought i would be sent on my way with new appoint.

It could only happen to me😁 (and i drank more at home/on way than was in that jug!!)

Can i get an unlisted life please? To much crap finds my life.😉

Back home and 'been' 3 times so far well sonographer did warn me😀

Apparently have a diverticulum (extra 'pocket') in my bladder. She will pass info on to gp and urologists who might want to put a camera in there to see it better Eeek! But possibly just leave it unless it starts to be a problem. Fingers crossed.

Still raining and pretty cold too.

Started really wet and miserable, but now cleared out a bit. Patio nearly there now, hurray!

I've got through Christmas, New Year, DH's birthday - so why do I feel tearful that it's my birthday on Saturday? DS and DIL will come in morning as her aunt's birthday too so there for tea, not with me. But why my birthday sets me off ..... Having hair (haystack currently) done in pm so that's a plus, and some profiteroles in freezer - if still there by Saturday. .

Oh Willow, sorry but that did make me laugh. Sounds like it isn't too much of a problem, am wincing at the thought of a camera.

Rain here this morning and when I got home, was a beautiful day at work when I left.
New hen house is leeching stain, one of the white hens has orange streaks where she must have stood under a drip. On the plus side my very old hen, who must be 8 and lays April - October (although stopped at the end of August last year) laid an egg 🥚.
