Should I presume date is still on?

So we arranged dare Monday night (day time place etc)

Yesterday we exchanged 2 messages in morning and his last one was just saying restaurant we are going to has "steak &lobster Wednesday" and was I ok with that? Responded "it sounded great"

Haven't heard since which is fine don't want to chat to much before date.

So today's date night and heard nothing, should I presume it's still on or should I be waiting for/sending confirmation text?

Would you just arrive at arranged time without confirmation

I was on WhatsApp several times at work today because I was transferring photos. In the course of the morning I received four personal messages, including a question about a meet up tomorrow. I ignored all of them until lunchtime, not because I'm rude and couldn't be bothered to take a minute to reply, but because I was at work!
In fact, I would also have shown as being online on FB too but ignored all social interaction there because I was checking our company page.
Stop overthinking it! Flowers

MarthaArthur · 31/01/2018 15:26

Its standard where i am from to confirm a day before then possibly again an hour before meeting up at senders descretion. He has done nothing wrong yet.

lnging · 31/01/2018 15:32

Hey hope your having a good day.

BaronessBomburst · 31/01/2018 15:36

Send him another text:

Sorry, that should have been a question! We're still on for 7? I need to confirm the babysitter. x

Now, what are you wearing, and are you going for steak or lobster? Grin

lnging · 31/01/2018 15:36

Yes I do think she should reply something like " great see you then" or something and maybe he will later when he finishes work

So for now will just prepare to go as planned unless I hear any different

Jesus what a bloody fuss and what I waste of time message I sent Hmm

I think they look good with jeans. Are they going over skinny jeans or boot cut ones?

All sounds and looks great. Be confident and let us know how it goes!

ChutneyNose · 31/01/2018 15:54

I use WhatsApp for work so you can be online but not have time to answer. Either way I would answer (how long does it take? 5 seconds?) and yes I’m a guy. My fingers crossed it goes well, one of your message made me cry!

hellsbellsmelons · 31/01/2018 15:54

The boots are fine.
I hope he confirm soon enough.
