Op I have no advice but I just want to say I admire how dignified you are. I would not be able to behave how you areFlowers

ThePinkOcelot · 10/08/2017 00:18

That is one hideous shirt!

abbey44 · 10/08/2017 00:18

That shirt - just....wow. Has mid-life crisis written all over it!

worldupsidedown · 10/08/2017 00:21

No, thankfully he looks nothing like JMay!

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 10/08/2017 00:21

I wonder will he go the full Nicky Haslam?

worldupsidedown · 10/08/2017 00:24

I've got all the dogs with me now too, he'll miss them

My boy is on his back, legs akimbo snoring

World I have been following your story since the beginning. I haven't posted as there were much more relevant experienced posters that could give more pertinent support to you. Hats off to you, you've handled yourself with dignity. Actually all of you posters that have helped with legal advice and similar stories, you're all brilliant.

However, at this point I have to step in. Who the holy fuck would think that, that shirt outside of a Hawaiian holiday on "wear your crazy shirt night, would think that shirt fulfilled the brief of "luxury" and "trendy"??! Somebody needs to have a sit down chat with this deluded shit bag and simply explain no Your silver lining is that it's not your job to do the "talk", instead you get to watch him squeeze his manly takeaway self into this little number and sashay out the door like the wanker he's proved himself to be. If he turns up in red trendy skinny chinos, shoot him with a nerf gun. In fact shoot him with a nerf gun anyway Wink, it's fun and legal!

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 10/08/2017 00:26

Now I am laughing out loud at the thought of his 20-something OW cringeing as he dad dances in that shirt in some Kensal Rise bar. Karma 😎

Greenifer · 10/08/2017 00:26

The shirt is truly awful.

Haribogirl · 10/08/2017 00:28

Your having a laugh😂 Pml(pissed myself laughing)

innagazing · 10/08/2017 00:28

That shirt is very 'Dalston'.
But that's in East London. Just!

dublingirl48653 · 10/08/2017 00:29

You are a strong incredible person

Wishing you all the very best

A lifetime of happiness awaits you now , none of this BS from him

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 10/08/2017 00:31

And a skinny, sloe-eyed, scruffy-haired, teenage Dalstonite skater boy might look quite cute in it.

MumGoneCrazy · 10/08/2017 00:33

That's the ugliest shirt I've ever seen 😂😂

DH would wear a man city shirt before that and he's a massive 33yr long man utd fan Hmm

worldupsidedown · 10/08/2017 00:34

Thank you all for your support, you are the wind beneath my wings!!Grin

Now I need to sleep 💤

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 10/08/2017 00:35

Night night.

innagazing · 10/08/2017 00:36

G'night World....

Hotheadwheresthecoldbath · 10/08/2017 02:19

I would make sure that that shirt was always washed, ironed and ready to wear!My revenge would simply be him wearing it.
On a serious note he will probably not speak much to DD and certainly not tell her about divorce, reasons. This seems to be another bit of woman's work, along with trying to get him to keep up a relationship with her.
Keep calm and angry, keep making lists and working through them.Open a seperate personal account if you don't have one and put half the money in there.I also agree with squirreling cash away, gives you a buffer that you don't have to declare.
Whoever you use you need to start the separation/divorce now together the finances sorted.
He has said you are a strong woman, let him see it.

AcrossthePond55 · 10/08/2017 04:24

Holy Crap! I haven't seen a shirt that hideous since the Disco Days of the 1970s!! All he needs now is some gold chains.

Itsnotwhatitseems · 10/08/2017 06:42

I can recommend a good solicitor but it depends on your location. I am in the South East.

Itsnotwhatitseems · 10/08/2017 06:46

I thought Dr Levy when I saw the shirt choice! This has Mid-life crisis written all over it. My ex decided to take out a loan for 27k for a BMW and bankrupted the family when he hit the mid life crisis stage!

Take cash back out on every shopping purchase. Keep that money safe. That's a really good way to squirrel cash as it can't be seen on a statement.

Dailystuck71 · 10/08/2017 06:55

How are you this morning? Hope you managed to get some sleep.
