How did you get through it? Was it really for the best?

Thank you so much gtimama, that was a very brave thing to do, leave like that. Im so pleased things are getting better for you. I actually feel some relief just at the thought of leaving. That last line of yours 'if you decide to stay' sent me into panic no, i'm not going to stay. You know, to be honest, after a lot of thinking, i'm not even sure if he would want me to stay. he seems to resent my even breathing most of the time. Maybe he is pushing me to leave. Not going to tell him my plans just yet though, just in case!

Ooh MLS. I would LOVE that! now that IS something to aim for!
I am feeling as though i am coming out of a black hole but i started taking AD's at the weekend so might have to give credit to them Ive had them 'in stock' a while but never dared take them. Gosh, the way i feel toady i wish i had taken them years ago!!

melminx - forgive me for this but i couldn't belt him so...... i spat in his sandwich!! Gosh that is so awful! But he had been particulary awful to me at the time and i just couldnt help myself. I got quite a kick out of it the next day thinking about him eating his ham and branston sandwich.

ROFL at his 'ham and branston sandwich' - good for you!

gtimama · 29/03/2007 14:42

Ifonlyhewould - sorry if I sent you into panic, but having been through this myself I know that sometimes other people give their advice and you act upon it, but in the end it is only you who knows exactly what it is that you are going through and it is only you that can make a life changing decision for both yourself and your daughter. I just meant that if you were to decide that leaving is too scary then no-one else that has offered their advice has the right to judge your decision. I just wish you all the best in whatever decision you make. (not very good at putting my thoughts into words - sorry).

gtimama · 29/03/2007 14:45

You could use this one too - a friend of mine washed out the toilet bowl with her DH's toothbrush then put it back in the beaker and waited for evening. She said she had a good laugh at his expense when he brushed his teeth that night.

Ifonlyhewould · 29/03/2007 14:53

No apologises necessary gtimama, everything you said is perfectly true and so right and you seem perfectly good with words to me so don't put yourself down

I like the toothbrush one, thats great. I haven't been brave enough to do anything else since the 'sandwich' episode but thats one i shall certainly bear in mind
