Aw cuilean that's never good when things like that have made an impact. I agree fight back is the only real option, I'll be thinking of you as it goes on. Really hope your eyes are ok

madein1995 · 08/04/2017 21:48

It feels quite often that the only people who ask how I am and actually mean it, are the people on this thread. My parents never even ask, my friends do but we always say 'good, how are you' so never really mean it, and people at work/customers obviously not appropriate to pour my heart out. I am mostly ok but sometimes I'm not and would like some RL support, people who ask and actually want an answer. dubh thanks and I'm feeling a bit shit but I will be, this week's caught up to me I think

Flowerydems · 08/04/2017 21:57

Aw darling. I feel like that all the time, please don't think cause there's no one in rl that you have no one. If you need you can message me anytime, I'm real and I care.

I really understand though I do and it's shit but you focus on you. We can do a new start on Monday and focus on what we can do that's positive. I need to do this aswell so it's not pity. You've done so well this week and 2 more sleeps and this shitty week is over darling Flowers

LuxuryWoman2017 · 08/04/2017 22:06

made you know that's exactly why support threads like this are so valuable, I would never have dumped the wine without it tbh so you say whatever you feel lovely.

Dubh I've missed you and you're wonderful, colourful way with words.

I'm in bed lying flat, backs not too bad but suddenly 'catches' if I'm not careful, I'm more stiff now.

Hope everyone gets a decent nights sleep. I'm rather looking forward to banging around in the morning when himself is suffering, can't help thinking I'll add to his pain. Shame I'm an early riser isn't it and our stairs really need hoovering Grin

CuileanDubh · 08/04/2017 22:12

When you are ready made, exhale. Empty it all oot. Follow the bubbles, kick hard, and get your bonny heid above water.

There's daffodils, sunshine and I do believe a flowery, a dubh, a lux and a wet bairn on the bank. lux will be waiting with all manner of loveliness to bring out the best in us all.

I'm with flowery. Monday sounds like a good day for shoogling wir pompoms. xx

theansweris42 · 08/04/2017 22:14

Ah babes.
The thread will hold us and keep us. All the times, including bad times.
I've shed a tear reading last few posts. good to read you dubh and lux keep mobile, well done , tis not easy with bad back.
I've not posted much lately cos I've been poorly and I've only managed a sprinkling of af days, but I read all the posts every day and I admire and commiserate all the time.
made it's been a tough week. It's over now!
Sending peace and light to all dear babes x

theansweris42 · 08/04/2017 22:15

Monday. Pom Poms. Count me in.

theansweris42 · 08/04/2017 22:16

dubh I wish everything was in your accent/dialect Smile

Flowerydems · 08/04/2017 22:17

Lux I love this!!! Also going through cupboards whilst playing ceilidh music works, anything with some pipes

Cuilean Monday is always the best day for a shoogle.

As soon as I get the keys for this house on Monday I'll be partaking in tea and cake in honour of all the babes before cleaning and decorating like a woman possessed. If anyone has any girly bedroom ideas for the babas room I'm all ears

CuileanDubh · 08/04/2017 22:17

lux you just made me roar with your Sunday morning hoover 'therapy'. Grin

I can lend you the terrorist for your back. She does a fine line in wandering over your back like the tiny wifies who massage you wi their feet.

She's shit at it but the pain of the claws digging in will distract you from any back pain. Word.

It's done with love. I think...

Flowerydems · 08/04/2017 22:18

42 I hope you feel better soon, I'm
In the sidecar too just very vocal Blush

madein1995 · 08/04/2017 22:24

Pom poms sound good dubh, lux, flowery and theanswer. I will make it above the water, promise. Having a wobbly and feeling rubbish, but will probably feel brighter by mon x

theansweris42 · 08/04/2017 22:28

Ah flowery vocal is good Smile

Flowerydems · 08/04/2017 22:31

So if we're having a Monday shoogle I will recommend a Scottish band called shooglenifty. Google it and slag me off later lovelies Grinyou can take the girl out of the highlands and all that

Tomorrow is another day but us sidecar lot will most likely be low and feel rotten. Roll on Monday Star

LuxuryWoman2017 · 08/04/2017 22:32

I've just had the text I always get 'I do love you, I'll be home late'

Well I'll be up early figuring out how to pay the bills and feed us now you've spent a dampened fortune. Maybe I should take up bagpipes?

Yo 42 sorry to hear you've been unwell, hope you feel better soon.

I do love to get up at 5.30am, such a good time to sing along to opera or heavy rock music I find.

LuxuryWoman2017 · 08/04/2017 22:35

Damn fortune. God I hate auto correct.
made you'll be fine my lovely, the sun will shine and we'll be with pom poms and face bombs and chocolate and lovely stuff.

Flowerydems · 08/04/2017 22:37

Is it rude to text back 'doors locked' and 'sleep on the couch' maybe it's easier cause I have smaller kids that poke you a lot if you're on the couch. I'll make moisture bomb Pom poms

CuileanDubh · 08/04/2017 22:42

flowery Shooglenifty. Grin Grin

42 missed you an a' quine, thank you for loving my intermittent Doric. I read an article in the PeenJ saying they were going to teach it in schools to make sure it disna die oot. I wis fair tickled.

I can be pan loaf when I have to be, but I love a dialect. Our old history teacher was a big fan, he's since died, but I still go past his house and say 'fit like min?' under my breath. His poetry made me smile so much.

Hope you feel a bitty better soon quine, xx

Flowerydems · 08/04/2017 22:46

Cuilean hope you know them they're amazing.

I'm a Gaelic speaker that moved to Doric land with dh cause he's from here. Took me a while to understand my in laws I can tell you

madein1995 · 08/04/2017 22:51

Dad is now being a twat and decided he's not giving me a lift to work. Ridiculous as him not doing so means me having to get a 9am bus (work at 10) and arriving at half 9 (work not til 10) and costs 4 quid, when work in 4 miles away. Such a fucking twat. So having to set alarm for 8am rather than 9am because of 'my attitude' (aka because he is a childish manchild)

CuileanDubh · 08/04/2017 23:09

Yer right there flowery! They are amazing!

I moved down to Lincoln for a while in my 20s/30s. When I first moved down, I overheard a colleague say. 'Haggis has been on the phone to her mum. I didn't know Haggis was bilingual....'

After that I hammed it up. The nickname for mam's dog was puddock, and sad bugger that I am I used to speak to her down the phone. Puddddocccccck. Puddy Puddddoccccck! Their faces! Beaten only when I once called someone a futret. Cue cat's bum mouths. 'You can't swear in here, Haggis.' said Matron. Grin Grin

I loved that they called me Haggis. Well it was more 'Aggis.

Loved it down there. Twas there began my love of a bit of Haslet (Acelet) in a bap.

Happy days. I gave them Doric. They gave me cold meat. Fair swap. Grin

CuileanDubh · 08/04/2017 23:13

made Sad

Borrow lux's hoover. Or I can sing some Judy Garland. He'll not enjoy his lie in, I promise. I'm shit at singing.

Wish Gerald was like dial-a-ride.

Flowerydems · 08/04/2017 23:25

Oh me cuilean not had haslet in a while like. My mums from dan sarf 😂

Made I'd be super noisy a la lux in the morning. Either it'll teach them or annoy them enough they won't pull it twice

madein1995 · 08/04/2017 23:39

it sounds dull amd i lshouldnt be, but im kind of wlary of annoying them. dad pushed me tonight and if i piss them off enough/be chopsy enough im worried it might turn physical. Silly as its not happened in years but i have been slapped, had hair pulled etc (when a teen and tbh i was gobbyg and theyre in an angry enough mood i dont want to push much more cos ill only be upset in work and am upset enough now. Sorry for typos - on phone and fat fingers. Dad pushed me with some forve and i stumbled. But of courae i cant report it. Would love to move out but cant afford it with no regular hours

Flowerydems · 08/04/2017 23:44

Made we're here for you. Go to bed, sleep it off cause I think this is the pills kicking in and maybe think about looking at your options tomorrow. You don't need to deal with this, I dealt with it til 18 then I left.

Thinking of you tonight and any advice I can give I will but you need to feel comfortable where you live darling
