Should I ask him up here?

Look I know it's Sunday and the sun is shining.. But pleease I need some encouragement . I posted my story on 'what's the most embarrassing thing that's happened to you?' thread yesterday and feel it's time to look wider for help.

Cutting long story short - bloke I fancy lives in garden flat below me. Pretty sure he's single, another neighbour reckons so too. Me, hung washing out on my balcony (mostly undies), windy day, they all flew off and landed in his garden downstairs. I plucked up the nerve to go down there ask him if I could get them, he agreed very nicely offered to help. I refused it and sprinted through his place, to garden, picked, (I thought), all my washing up and was leaving hurriedly, managed to catch bra strap in door handle, they all fell on his floor and I banged head on his living room door. I gathered up all items again and ran home burning with embarrassment.

Day later, knock on door, I answered in old jogging bottoms, filthy old vest, and cat shit, litter tray shovel in my hand. It was him, with a pair of my huge, grey baggies in his hand. He gave them (lovely smile) to me, and made a witty remark. Told me his name and that he's a plumber etc.. I, through half-opened front door , snatched nix off him, in tears of embarrassment. He left saying if he found anymore he'd bring them back..

Anyhow couple of days on and I'm calm and looking incredibly gorgeous, his car is downstairs and I have leaking tap. Should I ask him up here???? If so, how?? WTF do I say??

The missing finger would have made this plumber very identifiable.

BitOutOfPractice · 22/05/2015 15:11

I've just had a horrible thought. There was a thread very recently (week before last?) from a woman who left a workman (plumber?!?!) alone in her home for a short while (maybe while she did the school run) and when she went to get stuff out of the laundry basket later she discovered that someone had had a wank into a pair of her knickers

I seriously hope this isn't the same person this woman went to the police but never came back to update.

This op has a long history of ousting. Mostly about politics

Hobby2014 · 22/05/2015 15:41

So this thread isn't real?..
Why do people do it?
Sod off making shit up.

Sherborne · 22/05/2015 15:49

Why can't this thread be real? A quick google search reveals that there is indeed a plumber in the Surrey / Sussex / South London area, with a finger missing.

MyChildDoesntNeedSleep · 22/05/2015 15:50

jean The writing style is similar to OPs, don't you think?

BitOutOfPractice · 22/05/2015 15:51

Yes and he's probably the one writing the thread Sherborne!

BitOutOfPractice · 22/05/2015 15:51

That's the one Jean! Shock

JeanSeberg · 22/05/2015 15:58

I hope they come back, loving the cliches!

Bloomingflower1 · 22/05/2015 16:00

How strange Sherborne. I`ve also done a quick Google search and found nothing. Methinks you might be sourdrawers.

Oh Jean, that's really not on. That man may well have absolutely nothing to do with this thread.

BitOutOfPractice · 22/05/2015 16:10

Jean I've reported that post - bad form!

This thread will probably get pulled now

PushingThru · 22/05/2015 16:12

He has hair though. His bio also doesn't mention whether he's well endowed or not!

Penguinsaresmall · 22/05/2015 16:14

Aw gutted it's a wind up - love a good romance shag thread on a boring day at work Grin

Why don't I ever spot it?

Penguinsaresmall · 22/05/2015 16:15

That's a bit of a wierd thing to put on a website though isn't it? Why would that company need to advertise the fact that he has a finger missing? Confused

letscookbreakfast · 22/05/2015 16:16

Jean I can't believe you posted that link.

FFS.

Hobbitwife001 · 22/05/2015 16:20

Awwww.. Well it was fun while it lasted..
Maybe I'll start one about a hairy milkman wanting to put his large tool in my box....

HollyJollyDillydolly · 22/05/2015 16:41

That plumbers website bloke has hair so doubt it's him. How strange to advertise he has a finger missing!

Muddlewitch · 22/05/2015 17:04

Ah and there was I thinking there was hope for me yet on the man front.

Sigh.

usualsuspect333 · 22/05/2015 17:06

Did posters really believe this load of bollocks?

Maybe go buy yourselves a Mills and Boon next time.

Summertimeplease · 22/05/2015 17:17

Oh maybe it's true after all!

Handywoman · 22/05/2015 17:25

I smelled a rat from the 'opening the door wearing crappy leggings and mid cat-litter'

But I enjoyed anyway.

Ho hum.
